Port Closing Question..
Is there a software avail or a process that will monitor two ports and if there is no traffic close them so the program that is using them can reuse them? I talked to the vendor and they told me I needed to do this on the NAT/Firewall , but I dont see anything like that on my router. So any suggestions ideas? thanks, Ryan Nichols

pci passthrough on RHEL 4.5
Hi there, I have a Dell T3400 Workstation with CentOS5.1 as dom0. I have hidden a network interface in dom0 to pass it to domU. The domU can come up with the NIC when it''s OS is CentOS5.1 or RHEL5. But when it comes to RedHat4.5 , the NIC can not be found. As I type the command "lspci" in RHEL4.5 domU, it returned: pcilib: Cannot open /proc/bus/pci

Hello, I have a big problem: Dom0 is centos5.1, domU are centos5.1. Hi all, Is there a way to 'automatically' recreate users/permissions when moving from RH8 (yes, I know...way old) to CentOS5.1 or is it just simpler to recreate the users manually? Total users on this system is < 20. Thanks in advance, -Ray

Also, the driver-driver should be in the sources that they're using even still.

Does Redhat have a list of changed packages in 5.1?
The information at: http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS5.1 is great. Does RH have something that shows what has changed with them from 5.0 to 5.1? So far I have only found: http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-5.1-Manual/manual/doc000.html Like what release of Firefox, etc.
