zpool will not import on a different controller
I want to move my pool (consisting of five 1.5TB sata drives in raidz1) to a different computer. I am encountering issues with controllers - the motherboard (Asus P5BV-C/4L) has 8 sata ports: 4 on a marvell 88se6145, which seems not to be supported at all; and 4 on intel 82801G, which uses the pci-ide driver. no games
ok i've waited a day with steam running and i've stoped and started steam many times and my games still don't show up in the "my games" tab. The same message still appears when i try to repurchase my games saying that the software i want to purchase is not offered in my area. could it be that steam is misreporting my location the the servers? im using ubuntu 8.04 and wine

oggenc of wav file loses one second at end of track.. why?
Hi, I recently noticed that a relativly short wav file loses the last second (truncated perhaps) when I ran it through oggenc. Originally the wav was 25 seconds, the ogg is 24 seconds. This happens at various quality levels, and I saved several copys of the file on a webserver at http://array26.rockefeller.edu/www/ogg/ If anyone wants to confirm my observations.
