dear all i have a web server on centos 4.6. i have configured one more back up Webserver with the same configuration as the same on the primary web server Now how to configure this servers for fault tolerance. that is. if one server gets down the other should automatically become up. When i run a mii-tool it displays no MII transcievers present !!! if i run ifconfig it displays the eth0 its ip and Hwaddress if i ping to the eth0 ip it pings. if i ping to some other ip on Lan no response is coming. Currently, there is only one application that is keeping me on Windows, and that is the TivoDesktop software that lets me DL episodes from my Tivo, and in conjunction with the DirectDump tool, allows me to convert those Tivo files to standard MPEG-2 files for editing.
