feeding merge.zoo a vector containing the names of zoo objects?
Hi, the snippet of code below works, but I would like to know how to feed the function merge.zoo the contents of CADstocknames rather than having to hard code it into the merge.zoo command. I think I must be missing something simple, but I cannot for the life of me figure it out. Thanks in advance for any enlightenment offered. library(zoo) CADstocknames <-

[LLVMdev] Why always abort in verifyFunction?
Hello everyone: I have a little question about the second argument *action* of verifyFunction. In docs: *Enumerator: * *AbortProcessAction* verifyModule will print to stderr and abort() *PrintMessageAction* verifyModule will print to stderr and return true *ReturnStatusAction* verifyModule will just return true But it still abort when I pass

[LLVMdev] Why always abort in verifyFunction?
Hi Xiu, The Verifier pass runs a PreVerifier pass, which does not honour the action argument, and will always abort on a broken module, (Line 106, lib/VMCore/Verifier.cpp) Perhaps you should file a bug against this, to allow you to not abort if you so wish. no route found to match "/cookbook/recipe/list" with {:method=>:get}
Hi, I ve just spent about three hours trying to figure this out, so any help would be appreciated. I ve followed these steps: 1. Downloaded Instant Rails 2. Unzipped it 3. Ran "InstantRails.exe" to configure it. (path is c:\InstantRails) 4. Went to the "Manage Rails Applications" area and chose "cookbook" app. 5. Clicked on "Start with Mongrel" 6. Mongrel

Transport endpoint is not connected
Hi, I want to share a partition of an external disk between 3 machines. It is located on a Sun StoreTek 3510 and bound (via multipathing) to all 3 machines. One machine (say mach1) is the node I used to create the filesystem and setup /etc/ocfs2/cluster.conf. I copied the file to the other 2 machines. All use the same /etc/multipath.conf[1], too. All start /etc/init.d/ocfs2 at boot, all are

dll problem with C++ function
Dear fellow R-users, I have the problem of being unable to repeatedly use a C++-function within R unless by dyn.unloading/dyn.loading it after each .C call. The C++-code (too large to attach) compiles without problem using R CMD SHLIB. It loads (using dyn.load("myfun.so")) and executes (via .C(myfun, ...) ) properly. The function returns no object, only reads files from disk,

Alternativas a pgfSewave

MCMC/Bayesian framework in R?
Dear R-users (and developers), I am looking for an efficient framework to carry out parameter estimations based on MCMC (optionally with specified priors). My goal is as follow: * take ANY R-function returning a likelihood-value (this function may itself call external programmes or other code!) * run a sampler that covers the multidimensional parameter space (thus creating a posterior

Initial values of the parameters of a garch-Model
Dear all, I'm using R 2.8.1 under Windows Vista on a dual core 2,4 GhZ with 4 GB of RAM. I'm trying to reproduce a result out of "Analysis of Financial Time Series" by Ruey Tsay. In R I'm using the fGarch library. After fitting a ar(3)-garch(1,1)-model > model<-garchFit(~arma(3,0)+garch(1,1), analyse) I'm saving the results via > result<-model

choosing an appropriate linear model
I am trying to model the observed leaching of wood preservative chemicals from treated wood during an outdoor experiment where leaching is caused by rainfall events. For each rainfall event, the amount of rainfall was recorded as well as the amount of preservative chemical leached. A number of climatic variables were measured, but the most important is the amount of rainfall. I have tried a
