Bug#696810: If using apt-get and not dpkg -i, xcp-xapi/networking_type isn't respected
Package: xcp-networkd
Version: 1.3.2-13
Severity: serious
If apt-get was used to install xcp-networkd instead of dpkg -i, then
the debconf value selected for network-type wasn't respected. In other
words, the users does:
apt-get install xcp-networkd
then selects "bridge" in debconf, then it's "openvswitch" which appears
in /etc/xcp/network.conf instead of bridge.

Xen 4.1.1 packaging enhancement
Hi,
This email is mainly addressed at Waldi (Bastian Blank). I'm resending it
since the previous one is waiting for approval due to its size being
bigger than 40k (I compressed the .diff this time, so it should be ok).
I have worked on enhancing the current packaging of Xen 4.1.1 over the
last weeks. The main goal was to package the OCaml libraries of Xen as
separated binary packages, and

Boot process hangs then reboots when using Xen + Linux 3.2
Hi,
I just upgraded to the latest SID after reinstalling my test server.
Then, after a while, during the boot process, Xen seems to hang, then my
server reboots.
It's difficult for me to see anything, since I'm using a KVM over IP,
using a quite slow link (from China to UK, using a FreeNX box that
connects through a Java KVM over IP to the server), and I don't think
it'd be easy

Bug#606590: Upgrading from Lenny leaves xen-hypervisor-3.2-1-amd64 in and doesn't install 4.0
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64
Version: 4.0.1-1
Severity: serious
Tags: squeeze
Hi there!
Upgrading from Lenny to Squeeze left my box with xen-hypervisor-3.2-1-amd64
installed, and I had to "apt-get install xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64" manually
to have it installed after a dist-upgrade. This for sure, isn't the expected
behavior.
Also, after the dist-upgrade, I did:
apt-get

Last round of XCP bug squashing in Debian Wheezy, before the release
Hi,
I've been trying to fix several bugs in XCP, before the Debian 7
release. It's not bug free yet, but it's going into that direction. I
would need some help to fix the remaining!
1/ The new 1.3.2-12 release
The Debian release team has already accepted an unblock for this new
version that I uploaded in Debian SID. Here's the debian/changelog:

Improving xen-qemu-dm-4.0 dependencies
Hi,
When I first built my Debian package, I needed to depend on qemu-system
| qemu, since there was no other ways to pull needed BIOS files.
It seems the situation changed, and that I could depend on less stuff
from the qemu package. Maybe only the package named "etherboot" and
"vgabios". To do that, my plan is to simply package a folder named:
/usr/share/xen/qemu

Bug#654757: blktap-dkms doesn't seem to always rebuild its module
Package: blktap-dkms
Version: 2.0.91-1
Severity: normal
After an update of the kernel in SID, I have noticed that blktap-dkms
didn't automatically rebuild itself when I upgraded my server with a
newer kernel version. My understanding is that it should have.
Also, doing dpkg-reconfigure blktap-dkms or reinstalling the package
did make it rebuild the kernel module.

Upload of fixes for xen-api
Dear release team,
I would like update the Wheezy package of xen-api with numerous small
fixes. These aren't RC bugs, but I believe they are all worth fixing. I
believe that the most important one to fix is #682202.
Here's the changelog:
* Fixes bashism in install-debian-pv.sh (Closes: #690612).
* Fixes bashism in interface-visualise (Closes: #690710).
* The /etc/init.d/xcp-squeezed

Abnormal memory usage of dom0 under Squeeze leading to crash
Hi,
We normally run Lenny dom0 with 384 MB of RAM in our production server.
But as we did few trials with Squeeze, I had the very bad finding that a
Squeeze dom0 requires at least 1024 MB of RAM. As soon as I do something
like "xm mem-set Domain-0 800", my server crashes: OOM starts killing
processes, starting with sshd, then mdadm and so on, then the server
reboots by itself. This
