Further investigation revealed that hotplugpath.sh is an autogenerated

Bug#591456: xen-utils-common: The script hotplugpath.sh is missing in /etc/xen/scripts
Is there a fix for this in the works/coming for squeeze or do I have to
patch the package myself? If so, how?
Thanks, a grateful Debian user that hasn't patched packages yet!
Steve

Bug 591456 - script hotplugpath.sh is missing
Hello List,
why is the Bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=591456
not fixed yet? It was already reported back in 2010 and a patch was
already supplied, too.
Is this a bigger deal?
Thanks,
Mario

Bug#591456: Further effects of missing hotplugpath.sh [Re: squeeze: xen 4.0.1-2 + drbd8-utils: block-drbd script does no longer work?!]
FYI: This bug also breaks user supplied scripts (/etc/xen/scripts/block-*)
that are needed to handle block device mounting other than "phy:" and "file:"
disks.
See attached email from debian-user mailing list.
cheers

Bug#588406: fix for missing XEN_SCRIPT_DIR
I had another look at this and found the source of the problem - the reason why XEN_SCRIPT_DIR is not set: The hotplugpath.sh file is missing in the package.
In the "rules" file the "install" target includes this line:
$(MAKE) -C $(BUILD_DIR)/tools/hotplug/Linux install-udev install-scripts UDEV_RULES_DIR=/lib/udev/rules.d
The problem is that make is never run in the

vif-route does not work
I am using Debian 6.0 "Squeeze", I applied that patch
(http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=591456) to xen-common
because
of lack of hotplugpath.sh. network-route netdev=eth1 now does work, but
vif-route gives me this error:

Opening files from R terminal - appologies
Dear all,
I appologise for cluttering up the list with such a basic question,
however I have been unable to find the answer I want (possibly through
my poor usage of the R help system).
As I am visually impaired and using assistive technology, I think I
would prefer to use R from the terminal mode, i.e. by running rterm.exe
found in the bin directory.
I have managed to set my working

xen-utils-common buggy in squeeze: The script hotplugpath.sh is missing in /etc/xen/scripts
Hi,

Squeeze with Xen 4.0 wasn't starting up HVM instance and finally I found
this bug:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=591456
Despite it have been fixed in sid more than six months ago, Squeeze
still contain this high priority bug.
It's expected to get an update in stable or we should
