A fair few things under tools link against libraries which they don''t even use. Most of this appears to come from copy-and-pasting previous Makefile

Bug#693611: unblock: xen-api/1.3.2-13
Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian.org at packages.debian.org Usertags: unblock Hi, I have uploaded xen-api/1.3.2-13, which corrects 2 things: the hostname change script was designed by CentOS, so I've fixed that, and also, the init script was hanging waiting forever if the xen-api host was a slave node, so I added a test in the init script, thanks to a patch

The debian dom0 64 bits kernel crashes at boot time
Hi, I just wanted to give a bit of feedback here. i have tried the Xen amd64 kernel from the kernel team and it just crashes with a stack dump on my laptop (thinkpad t500, that is a quite new stuff but will be a common thing very soon I beleive). Then I have tried the kernel 2.6.27 from the Xen repository that you can find here: http://xenbits.xensource.com/ext/linux-2.6.27-xen.hg It's

Building xen-qemu-dm-4.0 (2nd attempt, please reply)
Hi, I'm trying to solve this one: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=615797 As much as I can tell, and unless I have missed something, the issue is a missing -lpulse in the Makefile.target (see attached diff file that fixes the issue). While my patch makes it compile again, I fear that I'm not doing well, and that there must be a better way to fix, that would take care of

Request to join pkg-xen project on alioth
Hi, Can you please let me be a project member, and if possible, project admin too, since I'm working on the XAPI and Xen packaging with Ian Campbell (who is also a DD) and other people at Citrix? I guess it would make sense to also have Ian Campbell and Bastian Blank as project admins, since they are also active DDs for the Xen packaging. I haven't seen you active in this project. Are

Bug#654757: blktap-dkms doesn't seem to always rebuild its module
Package: blktap-dkms Version: 2.0.91-1 Severity: normal After an update of the kernel in SID, I have noticed that blktap-dkms didn't automatically rebuild itself when I upgraded my server with a newer kernel version. My understanding is that it should have. Also, doing dpkg-reconfigure blktap-dkms or reinstalling the package did make it rebuild the kernel module. Thomas Goirand (zigo) --

Please apply this kernel (backported) patch fixing the IOAT issue #660554
Dear Debian kernel team, I have backported (well, in fact, manually applied) Dan Williams patch (who is the maintainer of IOAT upstream) for the Debian 3.2 kernel. Please apply this patch. Note that I have tested it, and that I can confirm (as others did) that the issue is fixed after applying. This patch will be (or has already been?) applied upstream. Cheers, Thomas Goirand (zigo)
