RFS: xen-qemu-dm (new package)
Hi, I believe the package is ready: http://ftparchive.gplhost.com/debian/pool/lenny/main/x/xen-qemu-dm-3.4/xen-qemu-dm-3.4_3.4.2-1.dsc I asked Ian Jackson to sponsor it (he works for Citrix and is a DD), but it's been 2 weeks, and he seems busy with work. I'd be glad if someone was sponsoring the upload of this package in Debian SID, soon enough so that people will be able to test it

Bug#562703: qemu-dm missing from xen-utils-3.4
I tried using http://ftparchive.gplhost.com/debian/pool/lenny/main/x/xen-qemu-dm-3.4/xen-qemu-dm-3.4_3.4.2-1_amd64.deb But my hvm instance wouldn't start. HVM support to be removed from Debian Squeeze: call for volunteers
[message cross posted to the pkg-xen and xen-devel list] Dear everyone, Bastian Blank - which is the person (among others, but mainly him) that is packaging Xen in Debian -, has decided last summer that he doesn't want to deal with the qemu-dm of Xen, thus removing Xen Qemu and support for HVM in Debian. Unsolvable segmentation fault
I cannot use wine with my windows partition. Whenever I try it , I immediatly get segmentation fault messagens (even when trying to run notepad.exe). If I modify the ~/.wine/dosdevices/c: simlink then wine seems to work well (but this is not a good solution, because I want wine to find programs and dlls in my windows partition). I use kurumin (a brazillian distro based on KNOPPIX. It is basically

Options in Brazil
All- I am considering an Asterisk implementation in Brazil. Unfortunately, this presents something of a challenge to plan sitting in Chicago, USA. I know there is a large section of Brazillian Asterisk users who actively read this list- so I'd love to pump out a few questions- note, I'm not necessarily a newbie, having successfully implemented a few Asterisk boxes here in the US. Command "make prep-kernels" not cloning Linux - xen-4.1.0 sources.
Hi! I compiled the xen-4.0.1 in Linux (Ubuntu 10.04), but as usually, the xen-4.1.0 is not behaving in a manner similar to the previous version. Am I required from version xen-4.1.0, transfer the kernel via the command "git clone git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/jeremy/xen.gitlinux-2.6-xen" from now? I mean, the "make prep-kernels" command of the xen-4.1.0 no

Smoothwall Appliance in Xen
Is anyone here running Smoothwall Appliance as a VM in Xen? We''re running it right now, but it''s running fully virtualized instead of para-virtualized. Anyone know if it can run as a PV? It crashed yesterday with only a 100 user sessions on it. Not much in the log except: [2010-12-06 15:03:31 7341] WARNING (image:559) domain prxy3: device model failure: pid 22922: malfunctioning

Woohoo! Windows Server 2008 RC2 on Xen 4.0
Surely you hear plenty about what''s not working, so I thought I''d shoot a quick message on something that did work. I got Windows Server 2008 RC2 installed. I have yet to even activate it and prove all internal features/devices work, but installation alone satisfied me! I had to fight a couple issues and I''ll mention them here, i think they''d be pretty
