Libvirt, virtmanager & Windows 7 installation partition
I need to use an existing windows 7 installation in a virtual machine
form a libvirt host running Ubuntu 12.10.
Windows 7 installs on two partitions. There a 100MB boot partitiona
and then the main partition for the installation.
If I boot the laptop (which dual boots), I can select Windows 7 and
boot it just fine, or alternative Ubuntu.
If I select /dev/sda1 in the virtmanager as the source

ejabberd 2.0.2 vs SELinux vs CentOS 5
Lordy, I've been having problems with this darn thing, so I hope someone
can help me. :s
My troubles started when I downloaded the latest erlang and ejabberd
packages. I crashed and burned very quickly, trying two or three
different versions of erlang along with several of ejabberd 2.0.x.
Finally, after a week of pain, I admitted defeat, wiped the whole lot
and installed the binary on the

Markdown plugin produces hash instead of content
I love Markdown. But occasionally I run into this rendering bug which
is very frustrating. I recently found it when using Markdown to format
the latest version of the [mt:Entries docs][1] ([Markdown version][2]
mentioned in [Case 79762][3])
As posted as a comment on the [Movable Type Markdown plugin page](http://plugins.movabletype.org/markdown/index.html

chan_motif, xmpp, jabber, jingle
Hi all,
For one of my inverstigations it looks like i'm back to "square one"
I'm trying to accept an incoming xmpp call and forward it conditionally
to a sip, isdn, or voicemail.
No google is involved as i use a local xmpp server (ejabberd)
I was experimenting on 1.8.15.1 (with jabber.conf, jingle.conf), but
some suggested me to have a look at asterisk11,so i did...

DNS caching is not working on CentOS
Hi All:
For whatever reason I can not get dns caching to work on any of my
centos boxes. Running Centos 5 and 6. Any thoughts on why these will
not run? The services start fine but when telling to perform a dig
using itself as the resolver the queries fail (See below).
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ed

dovecot perl sasl ejabberd
Good day to all!
We would like to authenticate our ejabberd against Dovecot with perl
there's such a script http://www.ejabberd.im/files/contributions/check_dovecot.pl.txt
that script uses following perl library - http://cpansearch.perl.org/src/SASHA/Authen-SASL-Authd-0.04/lib/Authen/SASL/Authd.pm
Authentication is OK, but sub user_dovecot wich queues information about a specific user

PDNS
Does anyone have experience with PDNS?
The reason I ask is that I have never heard of it before today, but it looks
like we might want to leverage its sql backend capabilites.
My (useless) searches lead me to:

* http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos/2009-July/078975.html (in spanish...)

Radius 0.0.1 -- Powerful Tag-Based Templates
I am pleased to announce the immediate release of Radius 0.5.0.
Radius is a small, but powerful tag-based template language for Ruby
inspired by the template languages used in MovableType
<www.movabletype.org> and TextPattern <www.textpattern.com>. It uses
tags similar to XML, but can be used to generate any form of plain text
(HTML, e-mail, etc...).
This release is much more feature
