Re: Determine ongoing shutdown via libvirt or preventing migrations to host
Hi Daniel, Thank you for your reply. I agree that runlevel is not directly related to VM management so it is OK, that it is not implemented in libvirt library. What about prevention of VM migrations, is it acceptable to just close migration port in firewall ? Thank you Ondřej Dne 10.12.2013 14:34, Daniel P. Determine ongoing shutdown via libvirt or preventing migrations to host
Hi list, Is there any function in libvirt to determine runlevel of host or any possibility to prevent VM migrations to that host ? I'm developing simple cluster of 4 servers running KVM VMs. For management I decided to use python-libvirt. It is working in that way, that every VM is diskless and booting via PXE so I can run it on every host server. Every VM has assigned one host as

[PATCH] Detect correct systemdsystemshutdowndir
nut hardcodes systemdsystemshutdowndir to ${libdir}/systemd/system-shutdown. This is not valid: - Executable helpers are installed to ${libexecdir}, which is different from ${libdir} on bi-arch systems. - Even if nut will use ${libexecdir}, it could be different from systemd libexecdir. That is why it is better to check systemd.pc for the correct path. That path is stored as systemdutildir.

can't connect to a samba share with Windows XP
Hi all, I am having problems with using XP Pro to connect to a samba share. All I get from XP are repated dialogs asking for my username and password. My linux box has been joined to the local windows domain. I am using encrypted passwords and the security level is set to user. If I set the log level to 10 I can see that LM and NT4 MD password checks failed on the challenge returned by the XP

Severe ZFS corruption, help needed.

total variation penalty
Hi, I was recently plowing through the docs of the quantreg package by Roger Koenker and came across the total variation penalty approach to 1-dimensional spline fitting. I googled around a bit and have found some papers originated in the image processing community, but (apart from Roger's papers) no paper that would discuss its statistical aspects. I have a couple of questions in this

Ok all here is a strange one...... I have a TDM400P with 3 fxo modules. I can very rarely make an outbound call to the PSTN....about once every 10 tries. It seems like the TDM400p is having

And I have problems with network inside my guests. All guests can ping to CentOS host but nothing more: can't resolv dns names, can access via tcp to other hosts, etc ... Using same config on other CentOS7 host, but using default
