Bug#573210: Workaround: Using 2.6.18 leads to whole server crash
Hi,
this night one domU crashed, so I managed to try workaround from Pasi to
use kernel from etch ... but I need 2.6.26 in dom0 (drivers for sata
controller) and so that I changed kernel only for domUs to
2.6.18-6-amd64. With this configuration server crashed after ten
minutes. It was totally frozen so I had to restore previous state, but
now I don't know what to do now. It's

[LLVMdev] Question: overloaded intrinsic
I am working on an implementation that needs to add a couple of overloaded intrinsics (based on pointer to different address spaces). I am creating a new myintrinsics.td file and using the iPTRAny for the argument type.
The current interface (i.e. getName() and getTyp() in Intrinsics.h) seems to require the caller to know which arguments are used for overloading, so to set Tys and numTys. This

Regarding - P-Asserted identity and Privacy - SOLVED
Hi All,
I got this figured out, when the privacy is ON at the other end of the
server and when we get the Invite message to the server connected to PRI's,
just take the details from the invite message in the Dial plan and send the
calls as anonymous:
exten => _1NXXXXXXXXX,n,Set(PRIVACY=${SIP_HEADER(Privacy)})

t38 ATA
Hello,
I need a hand in choosing a small ATA, even with one FXS port, that should do only fax with T38.
I've tried Grandstream (ht286 model) but the faxes go out without ECM, even if the Fax machine has ECM enabled.
Is there anyone that can recommend an ATA that might do the trick?
Thanks,
Alex

Polycom not updating the directory list
Hi,
I have a strange problem with all of our Polycom 550 & 650 phones. I am running a TFTP server on my Asterisk server and option 66 Boot Host pointing to Asterisk on my DHCP server. The auto-provisioning is working because the phones are registering correctly with their extension. If I change the MAC.cfg file to another extension and reboot the phone, it will reflect the new ext.

patch: allow proxy to lookup host by name
This patch allows the dovecot proxy processes to lookup the destination
host by name instead of IP address. Tested agains 1.2.10, expected to
work against 1.2.11.
The patch is pretty straightforward, it's making it work within the
restrictions of the login process that's more interesting.
I have made some changes to the wiki (pending approval) to
- enhance the discussion of proxy

Codec preference
How can I set the prefered codec between 2 calling parties ??
My Grandstream supports G729, alaw and gsm... in this order.
The Zoiper softphone has alaw and gsm as codecs... in that order.
Although there should be a matching codec found, my Grandstream can not
call the Zoiper softphone.

dtmf payload 100
Hello,
I encountered the dtmf problem between my asterisk box (1.4.23) and
suppliers gateway (unknown vendor). I have dtmf mode set to rfc2833 and it
alway worked till supplier has changed something. Now I receive from him
dtmf payload 100. With the second supplier which sends dtmf with payload
type 101 everything works.
in cli I get this message as dtmf is entered

Hi Jakob,
It's not completely clear from your post, I think your chart is just
for x86_64? What does it look like for x86_32?

[LLVMdev] Let's -disable-post-ra for x86
We are currently running the post-ra scheduler for x86 with -O3. It is not really clear that it is worth the compile time.
X86 scheduling is a mystery that post-ra has not solved.
I ran the nightly test suite on x86_64 with LTO enabled and -O3 with and without -disable-post-ra. Code generation is 10% faster overall with -disable-post-ra, and the runtime impact varies from a 17% speedup to a 17
