Bug#404538: xen-3.0: not binNMU safe
I am seeing the same problem reported in #404538. Interestingly it only fails the first time which makes sense if you look at the code in debian/rules: ======================================================================== debian/control debian/rules.gen: $(CONTROL_FILES) if [ -f debian/control ] && [ -f debian/control.md5sum ] && [ -f debian/rules.gen ]; then \

xen-utils rebuild for stable (CVE-2007-4993)
Hi, I'm having difficulty applying and rebuilding the patch for the version of Xen included in Debian's Etch release. After applying the patch and updating the changelog I receive this error: steve at dev:~/xen-3.0-3.0.3-0$ debuild -sa fakeroot debian/rules clean if [ -f debian/control ] && [ -f debian/control.md5sum ] && [ -f debian/rules.gen ]; then \

Author: tha-guest Date: 2006-02-18 22:55:21 +0000 (Sat, 18 Feb 2006) New Revision: 24 Removed: trunk/debian/patches/30rename-pae-hypervisor.dpatch Log: Guido found a better way to have the pae hypervisor installed with another name without patching upstream and it seems to work as good as the patched upstream version, so I removed my patch from svn again. hints about modules needed when migrating to newer releases
Hi, I am migrating a 4.06 pxelinux setup to a 6.02 one. After changing pxelinux.0 to the new version, I got "Failed to load ldlinux.c32". I looked in my debian provided /usr/share/doc/pxelinux/README.txt (which I think is a copy of doc/pxelinux.txt) and didn't find any hints. I also looked at http://www.syslinux.org/wiki/index.php/PXELINUX and didn't find anything. Someone

[PATCH] Build against linux-support-2.6.32-2
To build in current unstable (and, I suspect, squeeze) xen-3 seems to need the following patch. (I'm not really sure what I'm doing and just cribbed from r14469 in the debian-kernel tree which is where the pertinent change to the linux-support package came from. It seems to work....) The errors from only editing rules.defs are attached. Index: debian/bin/gencontrol.py

Bug#450638: Rebuild fails even if only debian/changelog updated
Package: xen-3 Version: 3.1.1-1 See the transcript below, where I * dpkg-source -x debian/xen-3_3.1.1-1.dsc * add an entry to debian/changelog at the top * run dpkg-buildpackage, which fails I installed the build-dependencies on sid and lenny and the path it's looking for doesn't exist there either. Thanks, Ian. mariner:d> dpkg-source -x ../debian/xen-3_3.1.1-1.dsc gpg:
