Xen 3.1 AMD64 status and Ubuntu
Hi,
I see that there aren't AMD64 packages in unstable.
Is ti related to this bug?
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=439662
In ubuntu it compiles on amd64.
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xen-3.1/3.1.0-0ubuntu15
Is there collaboration between debian xen team and ubuntu xen team?
Regards,

Backporting Xen 3.1 to Etch
Hi,
this morining I was trying to compile xen 3.1 on my Debian Etch (AMD64).
I have a little problem with gcc-multilib. It depends on many packages
that don't exist in Etch. So I brutally remove it from debian/control
and then dpkg-buildpackage.
There was some warning on compilation:
dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: format of `NEEDED libxenstore.so' not recognized
dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: format

Bug 1442983 on 3.10.11 Unable to acquire lock for gluster volume leading to 'another transaction in progress' error
Hi,
I'm hitting bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1442983
on glusterfs 3.10.11 and oVirt 4.1.9 (and before on glusterfs 3.8.14)
The bug report says fixed in glusterfs-3.12.2-1
Is there a plan to backport the fix to 3.10.x releases or the only way
to fix is upgrade to 3.12?

[PATCH] Btrfs: fix crash in scrub repair code when device is missing
Fix that when scrub tries to repair an I/O or checksum error and one of
the devices containing the mirror is missing, it crashes in bio_add_page
because the bdev is a NULL pointer for missing devices.

Hi,
We postponed this and I did not announce this to the lists. The number
of bugs fixed against 3.10.12 is low, and I decided to move this to the
30th of Apr instead.
Is there a specific fix that you are looking for in the release?
Thanks,
Shyam

Asterisk testbed for teaching connecting to a PRI-ISDN
Hi,
I would like to realize a voip testbed that should simulate the scenario
in which two companies have an asterisk PBX connected through a PRI-ISDN
to the Telco operator.
I have no experience of T1/E1 connection but I think that the above
could be relized with 3 asterisk boxes equipped with Digium TE405P cards.
One of the box will represent the Telco, the other two, the two
companies PBX.

IGMP
The BBC are currently trialling multicasting the Olympics. This requires
multicast and IGMP to be available. As far as I can make out, in 2.0.8
at least, all multicast addresses are filtered out and, to my naive
eyes, can''t be re-enabled.
Please prove me wrong :-)

parallel zone: loc2 is composition of loc1
i have no idea how to definie for a parallel zone the host file if the
second zone (net) should be the composition of the first zone (dmz).
i tried all the following combinations in the interface and host files:
interface:

- eth0 192.168.0.255,255,255,255,255 (variante 2)

an actual hacked machine, in a preserved state
(Sorry, third time -- last one, promise, just giving it a subject line!)
OK, a second machine hosted at the same hosting company has also apparently
been hacked. Since 2 of out of 3 machines hosted at that company have now
been hacked, but this hasn't happened to any of the other 37 dedicated
servers that I've got hosted at other hosting companies (also CentOS, same
version or almost),

dreaded Caller*ID failed checksum
Caller*ID used to work as some point, but I can't seem to get it going
these days. The card is a x101p. I've tried going up and down the
rxgain scale. Can the txgain effect it at all? When I plug in a phone
into the line with a splitter it can decode caller id with no problems.
Reading through the mailing list archives hasn't given me any
move clues. Any ideas?
