Hi folks There are two components, which are currently not included in the main utils package: ioemu, xenfb. ioemu is currently shipped in its own package, xenfb is not shipped at all. Should we fold them into the main utils package for simplicity? ioemu adds 300k to the package and 4300k in one dependency (libsdl1.2debian). xenfb adds another 200k to the package and 200k in one dependency

I apologize if this isn't the correct destination for these errors, but I tried installing xen on my ubuntu (breezy badger) system via: deb-src http://packages.debianbase.de/sources/xen3 ./ and then tried building locally via apt-get source xen. The only problem appears to be the explicit python2.3 dependency in : debian/rules debian/libxen-python.install a simple s/python2.3/python2.4/

I am using the "tha" Xen packages from http://packages.debianbase.de/sarge/amd64/xen3/ However, I noticed that some new packages have been uploaded into the NEW queue. What I am wondering is if/when/where the Sarge packages will be made available. Hi list, Here is the idea. I am running a domU out of a partition on a USB drive. I use the other partition to store the domU state. Then I carry this USB key to my office and restore the VM at the point where I left it. Thus I am trying to use xen''s virtualization to carry my desktop on a USB key. I have put up a web page explaining the details and a script to prepare the USB key.
