Bug#388352: xen-hypervisor-3.0-unstable-1-amd64: veth0 is missing
Package: xen-hypervisor-3.0-unstable-1-amd64
Version: 3.0-unstable+hg11292-2
Severity: important
My server is a dell 2950 server.
Before the dom0 rebooting bug ocurred, xen was well even for hvm domU.
By now i have tried xen-hypervisor-3.0-amd64 (3.0.2+hg9697-2) and
xen-hypervisor-3.0-unstable-1-amd64 (3.0-unstable+hg11292-2),
but both of them are unusable for me.

SIP Tandem Inbound only.
Hello,
I have a carrier that is supplying me with DID inbound over SIP to my asterisk
server. Because the CID is different with every call that is coming in the
only way I have to authenticate this carrier is IP based.
In my sip.conf I want to define this user as "type=user", however this can't
work because Asterisk only authenticates users by username, not IP.
I can take

Squished faxes with txfax
Hello,
I have been getting squished faxes very reliably when sending through Asterisk
using txfax. It looks as if all horizontal white space has been removed.
Interestingly it is perfectly repeatable, which seems to rule out timing
related issues.
My configuration is:
Asterisk SVN-branch-1.2-r7337M
spandsp-0.0.2pre21 ( though I have tried a 0.0.3 snapshot as well as
0.0.2pre25 )

Bug#391606: xen-utils-common: doesn't ship referenced man pages
Package: xen-utils-common
Version: 3.0+hg11624-1
Severity: normal
Hi,
the executable /usr/sbin/xm refers to the man pages xm(1) and xmdomain.cfg(5).
As far as I can see, Debian doesn't ship the respective upstream man pages
available at http://xensource.com/ . Since Debian packages should ship man
pages for executables, it would be a good idea to include those.
Thanks,
bye,
Roland

Package: xen-utils-common
Version: 3.0+hg11624-2
Severity: normal
I'm running etch with xen 3.0.3 with a hand-compiled 2.6.18.1
kernel. The /etc/xen/scripts/network-bridge fails to run,
because it (effectively) does this:
set -e
modprobe netloop > /dev/null 2>&1
As I do not have a netloop module (where is it supposed to come
from ? The 2.6.18.1 xen-patched kernel doesn't

Stream HD video
Hello everybody, I am new on this mail-list. I want to try to config a
HD video stream server on my LAN. I use Debian Squeeze OS and the idea
is to use H.264 video codec.
I just install Icecast2 on a Debian Lenny server and it works great
with a OGG audio playlist. I have lost of questions about it:
1. Is possible to configure Icecast2 to stream video as LiveTV?

Stream HD video
I agree I have not seen any H264 streaming info for icecast2.
If you are however interested in using ogg/vorbis (Theora) look up Theora
Streaming Studio in the Theora Cookbook and it will give you some info.
Additionally if you wish to script this task you can look up the info on the
three commands TSS wraps, specifically dvgrab/ffmpeg2theora/oggfwd. if your
source file is in a h264 medium you

Bug#393953: xen-3.0: DomU sometimes crashes while booting
Package: xen-3.0
Severity: important
While booting the DomU, it sometimes crashes, especially if the
vif-device is not up yet. I managed to get the console output (xm
console test), which I'll attach to this bug report. It seems it is some
kernel bug, but I'm not sure.
If you need more information, please tell me how to get it, and I will
try to post it.

Setting up Mongrel and Apache , some direction needed
I have a site that is PHP on Apache / RedHat , but will send requests to a
subdomain (running Rails) for database operations.
I believe the set up should be to have ROR using Mongrel, and an Apache
virtual host passing requests from apache to mongrel.
Does this sound correct ?
I believe the Virtual Host is set up in Apache.
One of my problems is I can''t find the httpd.conf file for
