Current status
Hi!
Ok, last message for this morning, I promise! ;)
I just wanted to make the point with all of you about the status of our
packages, what we've done and what we're missing! Since what we've done is
already in the changelog, let's focus on what we're missing!
1. Upgrade: how is the upgrade path from 2.0.6 in unstable? One probably should,
after upgrading xen, which should

lattice legen and auto.key conflict
Hello R-helpers,
I'm trying to customize a graphic in lattice using the 'legend' argument to add labels on my plot but in the process I'm losing the legend drawn by 'auto.key', despite the fact that I'm actually not sticking these on the same sides of the graphic. I worked up a quick and simple example with the iris data :

Ok, then I will try to wait until the official is ready. If I now start that
with an unofficial one, I will

Dear all,

git repo: primary/secondary/unofficial
I'm starting this thread to discuss what git repository should be
designated as primary and which repositories should be designated as
secondary.
For years, git.kernel.org has been the primary repo, updated at least
with every full and pre- release. git.zytor.com has been the
secondary and development repo.
Additionally, I've maintained my repos at github.com and git.zytor.com

python dist-utils and python-config [SEC=UNOFFICIAL]
UNOFFICIAL
Hi,
I'm trying to build samba-latest on CentOS 7. The PC is not online, so I have to download everything manually.
Most of the prerequisites are on the CentOS Everything ISO so I don't have to download a lot.
I installed all the documented dependencies and configure complained about python3.
So I downloaded and installed
python36-libs-3.6.8-1.el7.x86_64.rpm

Unoffical Survey - What MTA/Spam filtering do you use?
I like this unofficial survey of hardware but wondering what MTA and
spam filtering everyone is using. I do front end spam filtering for
other servers as well. (junkemailfilter.com)
I'm using Exim 4.61
SpamAssassin 3.11
Some version of DSpam that I'm experimenting with
Most of my spam filtering happens on the Exim level.

I wanted to modify my first suggestion.
Perhaps a better idea would be to reference an external document
giving an overview of the subject.
I couldn't find a discussion of POSIXct/POSIXlt

FW: Unofficial Samba+ACL howto
Sorry - I should have addressed this to Paul Eggleston who started this thread. Regardless who started it (the Samba + ACL howto), my offer still stands if I can be of any help. I'd be happy to help with this documentation, input, proof reading, whatever. There's definately a big lack here and the Samba team already has their hands full.

FLAC: re-encoding
hi
I have some questions about re-encoding existing FLAC files to FLAC 1.2.0.:
- can older 1.1.x FLAC files be re-encoded to FLAC 1.2.0 by using the FLAC
1.2.0 encoder?
- can FLAC files encoded with the FLAC Flake SVN encoder (or any other
'unofficial' FLAC encoder) be re-encoded by using the FLAC 1.2.0 encoder?
thx in advance!

Unofficial Broadvoice-users query/offer and DID routing question
Let me start by stating that I've been thinking about setting up an
unofficial broadvoice-users mailing list for a while. I've asked
Broadvoice techs about it a couple times by phone and email and it looks
like they haven't passed it up to the people who would make that
decision or said people aren't interested in creating/maintaining one.

Samba Shares and Win32 Viruses
Hi Collective users of Samba, (does has a nice ring to it eh?)
Recently I found a my samba server being infected by win32 viruses.
Though it does not affect the server in any way, I do find them to be
an annoyance.
I understand also that I can perform "veto" of files like *.exe in smb.conf
but find that to be a wee bit restrictive. There are some users who
stores valid executables in
