openssh for pocket PC
hey all,
I was looking for an openssh version that ran on Pocket PC - I need to be able to connect
to a server from a Pocket PC in a secure fashion - and I was hoping that it was available
in a form that would be usable by CF .Net.
Any ideas on where I could get something like this? Is there a port of OpenSSH to
pocketPC?

Ogg player for Pocket PC
Which ogg player has the best sound quality for PocketPC? Preferably free, as
that's partly the point of Ogg!
Thanks, Tom

USB Not working
Hi,
I recently bought a PocketPC, HP rx3417. I tried using multisync with
the SynCE plugin, but was unable to understand how to get my device
working (it's something to do with the number of USB endpoints - most
devices only have 2 or 3, while mine has 4) On the SynCE website there
are some step-by-step tutorials on how to get devices with 4 endpoints
working, but they are difficult to

RE: Difference in Encoding of files on Pocket PCvis-à-vis desktop
Hi,
Here's a couple things to look at:
1) Are you using your own encoder and decoder? If so, try with speexenc
and speexdec.
2) Is PocketPC big endian? If so, try defining WORDS_BIGENDIAN when
compiling Speex.
3) The "This doesn't look like a Speex file" error sounds very
suspicious because it only involves looking at the first chars of the
first packet and looking for the

[PATCH 2/4] drm/nouveau/kms/gv100-: Add support for interlaced modes
We advertise being able to set interlaced modes, so let's actually make
sure to do that. Otherwise, we'll end up hanging the display engine due
to trying to set a mode with timings adjusted for interlacing without
telling the hardware it's actually an interlaced mode.

Encoder for Pocket PCs
Hi developers!
I would like to know if it is possible to use Vorbis encoder as a real-time encoder for Pocket PCs, because they don't have floating point based unit. If not, do you plan to make a fixed-point based encoder? I'm very interested in this issue so if I could help, I will. I'm working on fixed-point MP3 encoder for XScale devices in cooperation with Intel. It seems that

Pocket Outlook
Hi all,
Another user posted the same thing a few months back... after contacting
them, they said they never got it working.
I'm unable to get Pocket Outlook, or FlexMail 2006 working on Dovecot
0.99.13. According to the logs it connects just fine. With Pocket
Outlook I'll see the headers for a few seconds, and then it clears and
shows nothing. With FlexMail, which is supposed to have

Pocket Outlook weirdness
Hi!
I am trying to access my IMAP server running dovecot from my Pocket PC
running PocketOutlook. I observe very strange behavior: it starts to
fetch messages from INBOX and shows list them on the screen as it
fetches, then all messages disappear from the screen and it says
"fetching folders". After the end of update operation it shows me
empty list of messages.
Have anybody have seen

Pocket PC 2003 lose stored password
Hi all,
when accessing a samba server (2.2.8a) from a Pocket PC 2003 you can give a
password and tell the Pocket PC to remember it.
But, if you switch off the device or remove the LAN-card the stored password
is lost (or send in a different way as Pocket PC 2002).
?
Maybe the procedure of sending the stored password has been changed,
??? because Pocket PC 2002 works fine with samba,
??? and

Re: problems accessing samba server from Pocket PC with Windows Mobil e
Hi there,
I am experiencing exactly the same problems like described below.
I do not have a solution right now, but I found a work-around that may
help you.
As soon as I change the security parameter in the smb.conf file
from security=user to security=share, mounting shares to Pocket
PC seems to work. (HP iPAQ 4150 running Windows Mobile 2003)
I am running SAMBA V 3.0.2.a and 2.6.4.2-52 kernel

Pocket PC
Howdy,
I recently obtained a Dell Axim X30, running Windows Mobile 2003 SE. It
totally refuses to connect to a Samba share due to authentication errors. The
share is set up with clear text passwords and functions perfectly with a
Win98 SE box. I have tried encrypted passwords and nt status support = no in
the global section of my smb.conf.
I am running Debian unstable, Samba 3.0.7-1.

Hi all,
I have a Samba 3.0.9 PDC, I cant get Pocket PC (WM2003SE) to access it.

SPNego??? what happens if i disable it on the
