building NUT on Mac OS X Yosemite (website/documentation)
Hi guys, Regarding building NUT on mac os x (yosemite), I tried Charles tweaks (ASCIIDOC_VERBOSE=-v + I?ve tried without internet connection) without success. Quick explanation for Charles regarding NUT WEBSITE: I would like to build it on my Mac because I?m experiencing some memory/performance issues with my VMs due to my quite old computer. bye, jean > Le 1 d?c. 2014 ? 20:54, Arnaud Quette

building NUT on Mac OS X Yosemite (website/documentation)
Sorry I ran ?make' command in nut-website/nut... (I still can?t understand why creating man page is so long, it is much more faster on ubuntu.) When running ?make? in nut-website, same issue then described previously, even with Arno patch > sort: stray character in field spec: invalid field specification `4.1,4.5rV > > >>>>>> and it ends with: > >

Updated Shorewall build and publish scripts
Attached please find updated build and publish scripts. They set the ''ulink.target'' parameter appropriately when converting docbook->HTML. I have always hacked my xhtml/params.xsl file to set this parameter; these updated scripts make that abomination unnecessary. Paul/Mike: It might be a good idea to add a CVS project for these scripts. -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ Nothing is

A new project using AsciiDoc: Network UPS Tools
Since I've heard about AsciiDoc (thanks ESR), I'm in the process of revamping the full Network UPS Tools documentation and website. Without going into the usual "it curred my desease, got my wife back home, and made me won a billion", it really saved my life ^_ ^ I was searching for such tool for years! thanks a lot Stuart and others. Kudos for the work! NUT revamp is not yet

Polynomial fitting
Hello, i'm fairly familiar with R and use it every now and then for math related tasks. I have a simple non polynomial function that i would like to approximate with a polynomial. I already looked into poly, but was unable to understand what to do with it. So my problem is this. I can generate virtually any number of datapoints and would like to find the coeffs a1, a2, ... up to a given

Replace atoi and atol with strtol strtoul:Need Help
Hello , I came across this function *HtmlParser::decode_entities(string &s)* in *xapian-application/omega/htmlparse.cc* which basically does is extract hex value if any or extract number. For extracting number atoi is used and value returned by it is stored in variable "val" , I think so replacing atoi with strtoul would be useful here as number can have larger value although the
