Tripp-Lite SU2200XLA problem
Hi,

riello_usb driver: randomly not working and usbfs flooding syslog
Hello,
after some days running without problems, my riello idialog 800 ups
get disconnected, and usbfs started flooding syslog with messages like:
usb 1-1.2: usbfs: process 57342 (riello_usb) did not claim interface 0
before use
Version is 2.7.1-1 debian packages, which I backported from sid to wheezy.
Any hint?

Re: Flooding of syslog due to ip change? [FIXED]
Hi there again,
I fixed it doing the following:
Stop all samba processes (nmb smb winbind)
Removed from /var/lib/ : browse.dat gencache.tdb wins.dat
started all samba processes again.
I was having problems when restarting the services, as the information
was obviously still in memory (and got written on shutdown)...
At least my syslog is cleaner now :)
Cheers,

zaphfc syslog flooding
Hi,
my zaphfc is flooding my syslog with two messages (even without asterisk
running). Is this "normal"?:
--------------------------------------------------
zaphfc: bchan rx fifo not enough bytes to receive! (z1=1360, z2=1353,
wanted 8 got 7), probably a buffer overrun.
zaphfc: dropped audio (z1=2712, z2=2695, wanted 8 got 17, dropped 9).
With Asterisk running (asterisk -vvvvvgc)

syslog flooding
Greetings;
Nut pull & build from about two weeks ago, 2.4.3 I believe. Belkin UPS.
I have everything working but a proper shutdown of upsd when I reboot,
it hangs there and needs the hdwe reset button to reset it. That may be
related to my finding more than 1 K##upsd and more than one K##upsmon, in
/etc/rc5.d and which I have now nuked.
However, while its working well enough to monitor,

[PATCH 1/3] nv50: remove vtxbuf stateobject after a referenced vtxbuf is mapped
- This avoids problematic "reloc'ed while mapped" messages and
some associated corruption as well.

adaptive bandwidth
Thanks Dragos,
I assume I will be setting those parameters during initialization of
encoder right?
Question is, if connection gets too lossy, how will opus adapt to it? Can
it automatically shift bitrate down to minimize impact?
Mark from IRC suggests that the app has to be aware of the losses and
change it on the fly.
Has anybody on the list tried this?

I am using libopus for my implementation. I wonder if anybody in the list
have any experience on how to make libopus dynamically adjust its bitrate?

Samba 4 - disabling SSLv3 to mitigate POODLE effects
Thanks Kelvin
I'm a bit confised tho, is this patch already avaiable? if yes, what is the
parameter that disable ssl into the smb.conf? Maybe the guys from
Enterprise samba have already included the patch into their releases so
it's just a maatter of enabling the flag.
I'm using sernet-samba-4.2.2
Thanks!

5 second latency sip to oh323
hi guys,
i'm using sept 30 cvs and oh323 5.5
i'm having 5 second latecy(on only 1 audio path) when a call is transferred....
the scenario is this:
sip--------->asterisk----->h323:operator (who then transfers the call)
                                                        ---------------->h323:destination

Represent Fortran alias information in LLVM IR
Hi,
We, IBM XL Fortran compiler team, is interested in representing Fortran
alias information in LLVM IR. We use the XL Fortran frontend to emit LLVM
IR that includes alias information to feed to the LLVM in order to create
object files. For the Fortran alias representation in LLVM IR, we
considered both TBAA and ScopeAlias/NoAlias metadata approaches, we think
that the ScopeAlias/NoAlias
