Hi there again, I fixed it doing the following: Stop all samba processes (nmb smb winbind) Removed from /var/lib/ : browse.dat gencache.tdb wins.dat started all samba processes again. I was having problems when restarting the services, as the information was obviously still in memory (and got written on shutdown)... At least my syslog is cleaner now :) Cheers, Rory
