[MARKABY] Multiline text?
Anybody know if it''s possible to have multiline text in Markaby without resorting to a bunch of text statements or putting the text block in another file and using render :file ? I need to add chunks of HTMLized javascript to my templates. Joe -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Documentation-related questions
3a. What part of the documentation needs the most immediate attention? 3b. Will anyone come after me with an axe if I move the entire corpus to ASCIIDOC markup? http://www.methods.co.nz/asciidoc/ 3c. Why isn't the content of the website a branch in the repo? Can we fix things so it is? Hint: If the website becomes a repo branch, I'll reorganize and rewrite that for clarity, too. --

Belkin USB UPSes
I just bought a pair of Belkin USB UPSes -- F6C1200-UNV and F6C550-AVR -- and installed the latest version of nut under Ubuntu 7.04. I'm using the F6C1200-UNV. My system does see the device; dmesg says [ 82.718428] usb 2-2: new low speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 2 [ 82.941189] usb 2-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice [ 83.036825] usbcore: registered new driver

prettyR arrives
Hi all, I have finally gotten the prettyR package going (many thanks to Kurt Hornik for his patience). prettyR is a set of functions that allows the user to produce HTML output from R scripts. Given an R script that runs properly, an HTML listing complete with embedded graphics can be produced simply by passing the script to the core function htmlize (Phillipe Grosjean has not only offered

Recommendations for consumer-grafe GPSes?
2. Recommendations? My use case is pretty typical. I have one Linux machine I want to protect, automated shutown is desirable, blackouts longer than a hour are very rare at my location (the last one I can remember was in 1993), brownouts are very rare and mild, but summer thunderstorms are common and can be severe. I'm a good match for your typical consmer-grade UPS. 2a. In 2009, what do

reformatting R scripts for htmlize()
Hi! I have a bunch of (mainly class) R scripts that I would like to convert into html pages (although if someone thinks that what I want to do is easier with latex or pdf, please tell me). Considering the format of my files, htmlize() seems the best option. The only problem is that I would need to write graphics to a file, thus converting parts like: plot(sel$hora, sel$COD_SP_C) #and check the

help understanding sip header
What are these messages that * constantly sends to the client? And why does it always say 'looking for [server ip] in default' ? Sometimes I see 404's instead of 200's, and I know something is wrong but I don't know what is being signalled here. In this case 206.80.111.117 is the * server, and 4.27.217.38 is my nat box. <-- SIP read from 4.27.217.38:61384: OPTIONS

Bad news - my UPS has died. Good news - my UPS has died
My UPS died two nights ago. From the symptoms, including the fact that the event took the motherboard of my main machine with it and the unreasonable amount of heat the UPS was generating immediately after, I believe this was a genuine fried-brains failure of the control electronics, not a mere battery death. The old UPS (a Belkin FVC1200) has been packed off to a recycler, and the motherboard

I have been working with this for a wile and I have been watching the list for about a month on this subject, to no avail. I am wondering if anyone has successfully configured asterisk for clients to connect to it when the clients are behind nat. I mean successfully because I can do everything except for audio, my audio is only one way. I am asking so I can determin if I will be continuing

FerretDonors page added to wiki
Hey folks, I''ve just added a FerretDonors page to the Wiki (for those interested we have raised $3915 to date). Currently it just has a list of donors but I would like to add links for each donor to their personal and/or business websites. This is something I should have done a long time ago. I''d love to hear any suggestions as to how I can better recognize these

Paris Meeting on Dec 20, 2004 - réunion à Paris le 20 décembre 2004
Hi, Just a quick word on this since I was fortunate enough to attend. There were about 18 people, almost all French (if you include the marseillais as French, they may have objections :) Not that I was counting, but there was one female human there. Thanks Mark for your generosity and the good choice in restaurants both this year and last June was it? The souffl? au Grand Marnier was very nice,

Upcoming Tripwire Port Upgrade
I have an updated tripwire port which I'd like to release for testing prior to replacing the existing and currently broken tripwire port. I've tested it under the upcoming 6.1, which it seems to work well in my test environment and will commence testing under 4.11-STABLE, the upcoming 5.5, and 7.0-CURRENT. The things that are on my todo list are: - Fully test under 4.11-STABLE. -
