upsdrv_info structure
Arnaud, If memory serves, you're the one that 'invented' the upsdrv_info_t subdriver description structure. We seem to have an issue with this on Solaris. I suspect that we're introducing GCC specific behavior here. Technically the typedef here isn't possible in C89, since this suggests that sizeof(upsdrv_info_t) can be determined. This obvious is not the case, since

Patch -- SVN revision in the version string
This is the patch to include SVN revision level in version number displays. There should be two enclosures; the patch itself and a new source file. common/upsversion.c. upversion.c defines a single function. upsversion(), that returns a version string for display. Some Makefile trickery ensures that this file will be recompiled whenever the project's SVN revision level has changed since it

NUT in the press
As I've stated some time ago, NUT is more and more embedded in appliances, such as the Synology x07 NAS models and Opengear network units. I'm working for some time with these two manufacturers to see how NUT can be improved for a better user experience. There was a small article on Linux Devices about Opengear devices and ?Clinux: http://linuxdevices.com/news/NS5231360488.html Some live

setting up CYBERPOWER CP1500PFCLCD
Hi, Another beginner question. I spend hours trying to find the solution for how to configure winnut properly but I' struggling to make it work. I want my QNAP NAS TS-231 to work as a master and send signal to the PC to shut it down during power outage. I configured QNAP properly (like this: http://geekbeat.tv/qnap-adding-external-devices-qnap), but I don't know what to do next. I work

RODC support has been funded as is pretty good as of 4.8. There are still some

Syslinux roadmap, revised
Hi all... I'm looking once again at the Syslinux roadmap. It seems to me that we're going to have a very hard time making Syslinux 4.00 be the full-featured everything-in-C release I had hoped for, or perhaps more specifically, that it is justifiable to sit on the current filesystems-in-C code waiting for the rest. That would probably mean productizing the transitional COM32R module

roadmap & development
Hi there, I'm very interested in oVirt as a management interface for a VM setup we're building, however it seems as though there isn't much info on the product roadmap or active development. I'm wondering if anyone could point me to more information on the roadmap or commit activity on the project? Regards, Anthony -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

Single Instance Storage still on the roadmap?
Hey Timo, I was curious where Single Instance Storage fits in on the roadmap, now that you are maybe settled in in your new digs... Is it still coming soon? Has it been pushed back by your new employers priorities? Its real high on mine, so if has been back-burnered, I'll need to start looking for alternatives... Thanks, -- Best regards, Charles

IMAP ANNOTATE Extension RFC5257: priority on roadmap
Hi Timo, congrats to the merger with OX. Currently the implementation of RFC 5257, ANNOTATE-EXPERIMENT-1, has only low priority on http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Roadmap I want to explain a scenario that would benefit from annotation support to - maybe - increase the priority in your roadmap: I'm currently working on a project to publish bank customer related documents inside a banking

Updated Roadmap for Dovecot?
Hello, Just wanted to go take a peek at the latest Roadmap for dovecot, and note that the current wiki page is flagged as obsolete: https://wiki.dovecot.org/Roadmap Is there an updated version somewhere? I'm interested in the list of new features being worked on - especially JMAP support - and a rough idea of when said features might be expected to make it into a release. Thanks!
