snmp-ups hacking
Hi all! I'm wondering if there's anyone doing any hacking on the snmp-ups driver at the moment. I've started looking at implementing 3phase-support, and this uncovered some rather unpleasant stuff in the snmp-ups driver that I really need to fix in order to get things sane. Those of you that's allergic to SNMP might want to stop reading now, this is rather icky ;)

[RFC] readtable enhancement
Hey, In the meantime, I submitted a bug. Thanks for the assistence on that. > and I'm not convinced that > coercion failures should fallback gracefully to the default. the gracefull fallback: - makes the code more complex + keeps colConvert implementations limited + requires the user to only implement what changed from the default + seemed to me to smallest overall effort In my

[RFC] readtable enhancement
This has some nice properties: 1) It self-documents the input expectations in a similar manner to colClasses. 2) The implementation could eventually "push down" the coercion, e.g., calling it on each chunk of an iterative read operation. The implementation needs work though, and I'm not convinced that coercion failures should fallback gracefully to the default. Feature requests

how to identify agi crash cause
Hi, I have a custom agi which at times does not exit gracefull and crashes in between. The logging options are set to the maximum but I dont see something conclusive in the asterisk log. I have noticed it crash after issuing the "SAY NUMBER" and "GET DATA" agi commands and the agi is spawned with no apparent reason after that. I tried running the application locally and

registering samba in wins
for some strange reason, our wins servers occasionally drop samba servers out of there name space. to deal with this, I cron'ed a restart of samba at midnight everynight. This was a quick solution, but a lousy one. I would rather have some way to have samba regularly send name registration requests to wins. Is there a way to do this? barring that, is there some interface I can query on samba

Paginate do a Count(*) request before...
Mathieu, Paginate needs to know how many total records there are when you create the object so you must either do an SQL COUNT or get all the records and find the length of the array. If it''s a small data set, I say find them all once and save yourself the second SQL query. If it''s a large data set do the COUNT and then only find the records you want which will save
