Hi, Sorry for the forwarding. Is this really needed/desirable? I think this kind of information needs to be put in the AUTHORS document. There are many more people on this list that put a lot of effort in NUT, without claiming credit

energizerups and bestups -> megatec?
Hi! I don't know how I missed it before, but "bestups" seems to implement mostly the same protocol as megatec. Is anybody out there using this driver willing to try "megatec" to see if it works? AFAIK, the only difference seems to be the command that gets the UPS identification data ("I" on "megatec", "ID" on "bestups"), but

PowerWalker and megatec_usb
Hi! I've (finally) decided to try and make my PowerWalker work with megatec_usb. So far it seems the agiler subdriver is the way to go, but it doesn't work. The initial detection process sometimes succeeds in 1 out of 5 "Q1" commands, but that's about it (which is better than what the krauler subdriver can do... absolutely nothing). So, what needs to be done to obtain more

Hi Jon, your patches are malformed because (presumably) your email client wrapped this lines. Could you please send these as a unified diff ("diff -u"), and send them in attachments, rather than as a copy-and-paste? Thanks, -- Peter Jon Gough wrote: > > Peter, > Here are the files I have worked on. I hope I have diff'd them > correctly. I have not touched the

Belkin F6H375 not seen by nut 2.2.1
I recently bought a Belkin F6H375 UPS. It connects to the computer via USB. Searching the Internet led me to believe that the megatec_usb driver in nut supports this UPS, however I've been unable to get it to work. I have this in ups.conf: [belkinusb] driver = megatec_usb port = auto desc = "Belkin USB" Here's what happens when I try to use it: ~ #

Mustek PowerMust 848
Hi, I'm not the maintainter for the "megatec_usb" driver (in fact, I'm no longer maintainer for the base "megatec" either), so I don't really know the status for that particular UPS. I'm forwarding this to the NUT mailing-list though. Regards, -- Carlos Rodrigues On Fri, Dec 5, 2008 at 10:30 AM, Adrian Czerniak <adrian.czerniak at becomo.com> wrote:

Megatec_usb driver
Trying to use it with Sven Smart RM2000 (seems to be an OEM clone of Sysgration Smart RM UPS: http://www.sysgration.com/product.asp?KID=7). I have just compiled the latest svn trunk. Unfortunately it does not work with that UPS: dbely at vserver1:~/nut-svn$ sudo /usr/local/ups/bin/megatec_usb -u root -a myups Network UPS Tools 2.1.0 - Megatec protocol driver 1.5.3 [megatec_usb] Carlos Rodrigues

Am Trying to use nut (2.2.0 - on an SMEServer V8 aka Centos 5.5) on the above UPS, I've tried the megatec driver in serial and USB mode (the device has both types of connection), but no success. Unsupported UPS using megatec_usb
Hey all, thanks for your work on nut. I recently got myself a new cheap UPS, and have thus far determined very little about it. I can run whatever you like to help identify and work with it. So far I've played around with various settings and have had some limited success with the megatec_usb driver (Debian testing version): ----ups.conf---- [plexus] driver=megatec_usb model=500VA mfr=Plexus
