Megatec - modem control lines
Carlos, Today I was browsing through the NUT Tracker and noticed an entry which linked to a message on nut-upsdev: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/nut-upsdev/2006-January/000559.html Although the fentonups driver is no longer in the tree (since it was replaced by the megatec driver), I think there is still some merit in this patch. Notice the following lines from this message: >

[PATCH] python: fix possible free on uninit memory with OStringList optargs
When using optional arguments of type OStringList, the code free'ing the member in the optargs_s struct corresponding to that optional argument would just check for a non-PyNone PyObject for that argument. If before that optional argument there are other arguments which can cause an earlier error return from that binding function, the free'ing code will then act on garbage values. Enhance

Smart-UPS RT 3000 Baud Rate
I have been running a Smart-UPS RT 3000 VA using nut successfully over the 940-0095B cable for a couple of years. I have just received a second unit, but it is slightly different in 3 ways that I have found so far. 1. It's a Smart-UPS RT 3000 XL 2. The 940-0095B cable now uses an RJ45 connector at the UPS end. 3. It now requires a baud rate of 9600 instead of the 2400 used previously.

Compile issues dovecot-1.0.beta7
Hi, I haven't tried compiling 1.0 series since -test52, figured I'd give it a shot. There were a couple of minor problems. This is building on a fairly ancient BSD/OS box, so the issues may not be universal, but I suspect these ones are. ==================== Building in src/lib-dict/dict.c : loading the 'dict' program fails because it can't find various RAND and other

[PATCH] btrfs: return EPERM in btrfs_rm_device()
Currently there are error paths in btrfs_rm_device() where EINVAL is returned telling the user they passed an invalid argument even though they passed a valid device. Change to return EPERM instead as the operation is not permitted. [PATCH] New '-o' option to configure server or hosts from command line
Options given on the command line have precedence over configuration from files. This can be useful, for example, for a roaming node, for which 'ConnectTo' and <host>.Address depends on its location. --- This patch is against stable branch. Merging this patch to the 1.1 branch is trivial. I use this patch on my Debian for several weeks. Here is the ifupdown script I use (some

xmalloc symbol in libssh
Hi list, (Please Cc: me in your replies because I'm not subscribed to this list.) While trying to build lukemftpd staticaly on FreeBSD, I got a link-time error. Libssh.a indeed provides the "xmalloc" symbol (I suppose there are more). I wonder if this is whether intentional or not. It is a very common function name, and I think it would be worth renaming it to something like

New Subsystem criteria for Match option block in OpenSSH server
Hello everybody, I'm a C/C++ consultant working for Ericsson. I changed the OpenSSH-Portable code to add a new criteria into the Match sshd_config option read by the sshd server. The new criteria is "Subsystem"; so a conditional block based on subsystem client request can now be added to the sshd_config configuration server file to override settings in its global section.

With the Ipv6 patch (r708), I get: upsclient.c: In function `upscli_connect': upsclient.c:469: `AI_ADDRCONFIG' undeclared (first use in this function) upsclient.c:469: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once upsclient.c:469: for each function it appears in.) pw_expire/pw_change in current portable openssh CVS bombs
The references to pw_expire and pw_change in pwcopy() in misc.c cause compilation errors at least on solaris. How about doing a memcpy of the whole structure and only explicitly setting those that need xstrdup? Group-based filesystem quota
Hello. After using Dovecot for over a year, I have just started experimenting with the filesystem quotas, and I have a suggestion for improvement. On my mail server, I use group-based quotas, and would like to have Dovecot be able to report these quotas. It should be simple to implement, requiring only changes to the quota-fs.c file of the quota plugin. Simply changing USRQUOTA to
