can't make mustek powermust 600usb work
Disclaimer: I've setup APC UPS monitoring and it works... ... but when it comes to mustek powermust 600usb (connected via com-port), I can't make it work. Got NUT installed via aptitude in ubuntu feisty and a basic setup, exactly the same as for the apc, except for the name of the ups and the corresponding section of ups.conf -- [mustek] driver = megatec port = /dev/ttyS1

Mustek Powermust 600USB and newhidups
So, I have this Mustek Powermust 600USB (no serial port) here temporarily. It seems to be a hid device. The output from "lsusb -v" and "newhidups -DDDDD" (with "generic" and "vendorid=06da") are (respectively): ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bus 001 Device 002: ID 06da:0003 Phoenixtec Power

Mustek Powermust 600VA
Hi, I'm having a hard time configuring a Mustek Powermust 600VA ups to work via USB with nut. I read somewhere that nut works OK via the rs232 cable, but unfortunately I don't have a COM port in my computer. The kernel detects the ups as an Xbox pad :) and loads the xpad module. I tried running /lib/nut/megatec with different /dev/ttySx but it displays megatec protocol UPS was not

Mustek PowerMust 848
Hi, I'm not the maintainter for the "megatec_usb" driver (in fact, I'm no longer maintainer for the base "megatec" either), so I don't really know the status for that particular UPS. I'm forwarding this to the NUT mailing-list though. Regards, -- Carlos Rodrigues On Fri, Dec 5, 2008 at 10:30 AM, Adrian Czerniak <adrian.czerniak at becomo.com> wrote:

Mustek
Hi all, I'm thinking buying a UPS Mustek PowerMust 600 USB to shutdown a Linux box on case of power failure. Can I use nut with this UPS without problems? I checked the page http://www.vamos-wentworth.org/upsinfo.html and was only something (incomplete) about Powermust 400 (information from November 2005). Could this be already changed? Thanks in advance.

Mustek PowerMust 800VA
Hello, fisrt, you should subscribe to the NUT user mailing list to get a good support, since I've personaly no knowledges about such units: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/nut-upsuser Next, you should try the latest nut release (2.0.5 currently, but 2.2.0 soon) and most of all the new megatec driver. 2007/6/10, esva2 at inbox.lv <esva2 at inbox.lv>: > Dear

New Mustek UPS model working
Hello, first of all I'd like to thank all the NUT developers for their gorgeous work and for their efforts to make NUT the best and most complete UPS management software I've ever seen (seriously). Secondarily I'd like to help the NUT project as far as my help is needed, I'm not a programmer (by now...) but I would like to help somehow anyway. I have 3 UPS from the same

Driver does not detect megatec_usb UPS
Hello all: I have a Yukai PowerMust 1000 USB and it used to work on another computer using megatec_usb driver. Now, I have it in a new computer, but the driver does not detect it. It is there: # lsusb|grep Cypress Bus 006 Device 007: ID 0665:5161 Cypress Semiconductor USB to Serial Permissions are OK: # ls -l /dev/bus/usb/006/007 crw-rw-r-- 1 root nut 189, 646 ago 8 01:51

Hello, We are using the equipment "MUSTEK PowerMust 3000 NetGuard RM". That is using Megatec protocol. But unfortunately not all the data can be viewed correctly when dumping from utility "upsc". PowerWalker UPS - Re-branded Mustek ?
Hello ! first off, thank you all for making this piece of software. from what i have seen so far this seems to be a really mature and advanced tool for all sorts of UPS models ! I`d like to tell that I own a UPS which isn`t listed on the compatibility list, but seems to be compatible. It is a PowerWalker - see this at
