bcmxcp: stop whining (and log spamming)
corrupted checksums happen all the time with the 6-port serial card,
even when only using one port (and I don't give a shit about the other
ports, if anybody has a one-port laying around...)
so stop whining already.

bcmxcp: Patch for using command map if present to control commands added by dstate_addcmd
Hi
Inspired by the changes by Prachi Gandhi to use the command map from the
UPS in the bcmxcp driver, I think the map should be used, if available,
to control
all commands the driver adds using "dstate_addcmd".
The following patch is an attempt at doing so. The patch is against the
bcmxcp branch.
Since my UPS also supports :
#define PW_UPS_ON (unsigned char)0x89 /* UPS on

bcmxcp: Patch for cosmetic code changes
Hi
Here is a very minor patch for the bcmxcp.c driver, mainly fixing the
function name used in debug statement, and at the same time fix indentation.

nut-2.0.5 megatec + Online Xanto
good new first: the megatec driverin 2.0.5 now works with the Online
Xanto S3000R here - well, for the very basics.
the UPS has NO way ofidentifying itself. It also does not respond to
the power ratings query ("F"). I previously used a hacked up fentonups
driver. This means the driver cannot figure out the battery voltage and
thus no battery charge level, which is a problem in our

I'd like to ask people to specifically try the bcmxcp branch on GitHub - it includes some changes

New NUT user with HP R3000XR problem
Greetings,
I've just installed nut-2.4.1 on a Solaris 10 x86 machine to monitor a
HP R3000XR UPS.
SunOS babylon4 5.10 Generic_138889-08 i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris
First of all, I encountered a single problem during the build. After
configuring, drivers/Makefile ends up containing the following line:
LIBNETSNMP_LDFLAGS = -R../lib -L/usr/sfw/lib -lnetsnmp -lgen [...]

HP/Compaq Rackmount UPS Support?
Hi,
I have an HP R5500XR and a Compaq R3000XR that I would like to use with nut.
I searched the compatibility lists and the mail list archives but couldn't
find anything.
They both have 9 pin serial ports.
Can anyone give me any information about them, and if they are supported by
nut?
Thanks,

Online-UPS Xanto support status?
Hello there. I use Online Xanto ups'es so I did some googling for
their support in nut. Turns out that...
- networkupstools.org talks about an 'optiups' driver in the
development version (http://www.networkupstools.org/compat/dev.html -
by the way, the web page says 'stable' in the title and headings just
like the actual stable one)
- Andreas Thienemann seems to have a

Speex Windows from 1.1.6 source
Hi All,
I am using Speex for encoding/decoding the audio stream for
my streaming application. I have used almost the same code
In the sampleenc.c and sampledec.c, except that I have used
The buffers from the mic as input for encoder and encoded audio
As input for decoder, instead of files input.
My Problem is the audio played on the receiving side after decoding
Is only a "hush" or it
