Newhidups gets unbound after a while
Hi everybody, If we let the feature running, it appears that the driver gets unbound after a while ( variable from quarter of hour to 6 hours ) and cannot reconnect. This behavior appear with both MGE Ellipse ASR and non-ASR models with connection to an UHCI and OHCI controllers. The USB core is from 2.4.28 kernel. We use nut-2.0.3. NUT-2.0.5: newhidups on RedHat ES4
Hello everybody, After succeeded in "tuning" nut-2.0.0's hidups and 2.0.3's newhidups on customized Linux kernels, we are now facing a new challenge : trying to install nut-2.0.5 on a RedHat ES4 which is based on a 2.6.9 kernel. I picked up the 2.0.5 source package and follow the INSTALL doc until step 6. So far so good. RH ES4 is managed by udev, therefore I presume we

Folks, I'm fairly new to this whole Linux UPS thingie, but I'd quite like to have a look at getting my UPS to work under Linux and would be grateful for any help in getting a driver. I have a reasonable working knowledge of Linux and software development, and thus am happy to modify config files, alter kernel settings, etc, although I'm no C guru. I have a Kebo UPS-650D, which

I've created a virtual machine using the VMWare supplied VMA. USB passthrough is configured to pass the UPS through to the VMA. So I essentially have a SLES 11 (x86_64) server with a USB
