Support of "shutdown.return" on a APC Back-UPS CS 500
Hi all,
I am trying to get a APC Back-UPS CS 500 running on my QNAP 419P Nas.
Since on all my work I figure out the following:
from Network UPS Tools upscmd 2.4.1
[~] # upscmd -l qnapups
Instant commands supported on UPS [qnapups]:
beeper.disable - Disable the UPS beeper
beeper.enable - Enable the UPS beeper
beeper.mute - Temporarily mute the UPS beeper

Tripp Lite SmartOnline 3U
I have the following UPS that I'm trying to get to work with NUT:
SU3000RTXL3U
I have it connected via USB. My ups.conf looks like:
[test]
driver = usbhid-ups
vendorid = 09ae
port = auto
When I run upsdrvctl -DD start, I get:
Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.4.1
Starting UPS: test
exec: /lib/nut/usbhid-ups -a test

usbhid-ups did not claim interface 0 before use
Hi,
I tried in vain to find an answer for my question, so let's post it
here. I've got a seemingly perfectly well running setup with NUT and a
APC SmartUPS 750. However, my log is being filled with messages like this:
Oct 13 12:13:08 alkmene kernel: usb 3-1: usbfs: process 16588
(usbhid-ups) did not claim interface 0 before use
Oct 13 12:13:40 alkmene last message repeated 43 times

Why do we need a new branch for this? As far as I can see, only the
below lines are really needed

I would like to report a working device to add to the hardware compatibility list, but cannot find a way on the website. Would this list be OK for that purpose?

PowerCOM - HID PDC status

They should be detected out of the box (with the latest version from
the trunk) through the 'usbhid-ups' driver. Note that I just added
some additional commands to enable|disable|mute the beeper of the UPS.

SNMP on HP UPS
Hi,
I would like to contribute code to make the SNMP driver compatible with
HP's AF401A UPS module. It is also compatible with HP's older SNMP
modules.
It's just a new mib specification plus the necessary changes to
snmp-ups.c
Several sources have told me that these UPSs use the cpqpower.mib, but
comparing that mib at http://www.snmplink.org/cgi-bin/nd/m/Ent/H/Hewlett

I think 'ltmain.sh' is a generated file (at least, I hope it is), this
change severely broke compilation here. I had to
