Megatec driver floods logs #2 & mail notifications
Hi there! I'm a n00b NUT user trying to get it running on RHEL5 and actually do something useful for me. Few questions: 1) I want it to notify me by email on power loss and power back events. I can't find any sample scripts for this purpose... Where shall I look for them? 2) So far, I've backported the package from Fedora and got my Ablerex running (previously used with Upsilon /

Status of the official LLVM APT repositories
Hi, I'd like to ask what's the status of the Debian / Ubuntu repositories linked from llvm.org, specifically http://llvm.org/apt/ ... If the timestamps are correct, some of the repositories haven't been updated for months. I've tried browsing them directly, and e.g. for Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty), the newly released LLVM 3.8 is nowhere to be found, even though it's advertised

Hi guys! I'm trying to get NUT into RPMForge and confusingly enough, it turns out that the code downloads are not available from the official website: http://new.networkupstools.org/download.html [buildbot at servinet SOURCES]$ wget http://www.networkupstools.org/source/2.4/nut-2.4.1.tar.gz --2009-12-25 13:26:23-- http://www.networkupstools.org/source/2.4/nut-2.4.1.tar.gz Resolving

Re: [nut-commits] svn commit r801 - in branches/megatec-usb: . drivers
Hi Alexander, thanks for your good work on the megatec_usb driver. I have made a few more (cosmetic) changes. Is the driver now working stably for your device? In particular, do the instant commands (and particularly "upsdrvctl -k") work properly? In this case, we could hopefully mark the device as "supported" and merge the driver to the main branch. There is still the

Re: [Nut-upsuser] Ablerex 625L USB version
Hi Jon, your patches are malformed because (presumably) your email client wrapped this lines. Could you please send these as a unified diff ("diff -u"), and send them in attachments, rather than as a copy-and-paste? Thanks, -- Peter Jon Gough wrote: > > Peter, > Here are the files I have worked on. I hope I have diff'd them > correctly. I have not touched the

NUT and Ablerex MARS 3000RT
Hello, I own some Ablerex MARS 3000 (MS3000RT) UPS. Following the thread here : http://osdir.com/ml/monitoring.nut.user/2006-04/msg00091.html I would have the following issues : 1. The battery charge displayed seems wrong : It always shows 100.0 - even when the battery is disconnected for replacement. 2. Battery voltage 2.29 is also static ...and wrong. The initial assumption of being the voltage

Megatec_USB on OpenBSD 4.3 - again...
Hello again! Thanks to the precious help from Henning Brauer, I managed to solve an issue with my UPS (a rebranded UPS speaking in Ablerex-ese over USB). Under OpenBSD 4.3, the UPS was claimed by HID. Now that I recompiled the kernel, adding a USB_quirk, this is what I get when I insert the USB cable: ugen0 at uhub0 port 2 "UIS_ABLER USB to Serial" rev 1.00/1.00 addr 2 So far, so

It appears that Precise repositories are now in order, but all the others (and, most importantly, Trusty) are still not updated. Also, 3.9 packages are not mentioned on the web page,

Ippon Back Power Pro 700 USB driver.
Hello! I've got an "Ippon Back Power Pro 700 USB" UPS. The system is Gentoo/Calculate. The NUT version is *2.6.0-r1* I've made all necessary instructions to make NUT work properly with my UPS using USB "blazer_usb" driver. But, when I start *upsdrv* it tells me the following: * * Starting UPS drivers ...* *Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.6.0*

Work around for power recycling after shutdown.return - TSSHARA UPS - nutdrv_qx driver - megatec protocol
Hello, I think that on this file nutdrv_qx_megatec.c the definition for shutdown.stayoff may be wrong. In the file the definition is "S%sR0000\r"m while on the megatec protocol description ( http://networkupstools.org/protocols/megatec.html) the command is just "S%s\r". When I changed it my system was abe to at least stay off, and stopped making an instant power recycling.
