CyberPower 550SL reports LB and OB when on line power
I am using nut 2.2.2 and I have a CyberPower CP550SL.
According to the drivers list, I should be using genericups with
upstype set to 7, but when I try that and when I run upsc I get:

driver.parameter.LB: 04
driver.parameter.pollinterval: 2
driver.parameter.port: /dev/ups
driver.parameter.upstype: 7
driver.version: 2.2.2

Cyberpower PR1500LCD
Hi,
Nut version 2.2.2, Opensuse 11.0 using serial connection using
Cyberpower cable. Have 2 servers connected directly using serial.
Looking for a way to get this ups and nut to work together. Have tried
with powerpanel and cyberpower and they both do not like to talk to the
ups. The upsd fails to start.
Can somebody guide me to what I do wrong or how I can find the issue.

Cyberpower CP550SL/AE550 Serial
Is anyone working on anything to support the Cyberpower CP550SL/AE550
Serial? Any idea if it uses the same or similar protocol as the other
Cyberpower models?
I have an HP 4952A Serial Protocol Analyzer and a Cyberpower CP550SL.
Once I get the CP550SL up and working in Windows over RS232 I'll hook up
the 4952A and see whats going on. I'm not sure what it uses for default
baud rate.

Sola 305 with INT-0051 cable
Hello again,
I have a Sola 305 (aka Powerware 3110) here connected via a serial
INT-0051 cable which I am trying to get working with nut. The
driver.list file indicates that nut supports the Sola 305 when connected
via the INT-0025C cable using the genericups driver with upstype set to
7 but it does not mention the INT-0051.
I was able to use the "Basic CheckUPS II" utility provided

I'm running NUT 2.6.3 on Debian wheezy [ with a 3.3.0 i686 kernel ]
I've installed NUT via Debian APT [ package nut version 2.6.3-1 ]
I have a REDi Blazer 600VA (BLAZER600c) UPS and I want to detect
power failures.
I have tried the following drivers:
* gamatronic: Can't talk to UPS on port /dev/ttyS1!
* bestups: Unable to detect a Best/SOLA or Phoenix protocol UPS
* blazer_ser: No

Gamatronic UPS using nut 2.0.3
I have a Gamatronic Smart Compact 750.
I have it connected to my linux machine via serial cable and am running nut
2.0.3. There is no interruption in power, but the ups is reporting OB (on
battery). Is there a configuration option I am missing?
The relevant ups.conf entry is:
[Gamatronic]
port = /dev/ttyS1
desc = "Home Gamatronic UPS"

Cyberpower 900AVR/BC900D newhidups problem
I'm trying to get nut to work with a Cyberpower 900AVR. There are many
different products known by this name, but this one has the extra name
'BC900D'.
I am told by a cyberpower tech that this one should talk exactly the
same USB protocol as the 685AVR, which was recently made to work with
newhidups.
Unfortunately, when I run the SVN checkout (trunk) of nut-2.1, I get:

mercury smart1200 pro serial powerdown problem
Hello *
Trying to get above serial UPS to work gives my some troubles.
With upstype=21 [CP=RTS] [OL=CTS] [LB=-DCD] [SD=RTS+DTR]
and/or upstype=4 [CP=RTS] [OL=CTS] [LB=-DCD] [SD=-RTS]
I do get OL OB LB ok, but shutting down the UPS does not work.
Direct call w/ command genericups ... -k and from lowbatt/
initscripts doesnt do. The UPS claims to be capable of and
the software shipped (RUPS2000)

This part of the patch is no good. While TIOCM_CAR is equivalent to
TIOCM_CD (at least in some implementations) CAR certainly isn't handled
the same as DCD by genericups. It won't be

Cyberpower/powerpanel error: Data stale
All,
I have a Cyberpower UPS that I have been working with for about a

Need to test serial port connection
I recently bought a new UPS, and I''m attempting to use nut to monitor it.
Following setup instructions everything seemed to go well until it came to
testing the connection, which failed.
There is just one serial connector on the computer, so I set it to
monitor /dev/ttyS0. Either that is wrong, or communication is failing.
I''ve been told to try minicom to monitor it,

Working UPS report: Geek Squad GS-700U (Cyberpower clone?)
Hi,
I wanted to report some success with monitoring this UPS, a "Geek Squad"
brand GS-700U that I purchased earlier this year from Best Buy Canada.
Information about this... thing is very scarce so here is what I know:
The unit itself is probably made by Cyberpower. It has a 9-pin serial
port on the UPS, as well as a serial-USB adapter thing. I cracked open
