Problems to compile examples of RInside
Hello, I have some problems to migrate to R >3.0 my devel machine (R.2.15.2). So I decided to start from scratch with a brand new virtual machine. Downloaded latest network install of debian testing, not stable (jessie/sid, SMP Debian 3.16.3-2 (2014-09-20) x86_64 GNU/Linux) installed only with ssh-server and basic utilities (no X). Then I installed R by: apt-get install

I need more bling!
Hello everyone, I just showed a friend a prototype of a site offering a service I''m trying to sell (sorry, not on the Internet yet - he saw it at my house). His comment: "Looks like it does everything, but also looks pretty ugly. You''re not going to wow anybody with that". Sitting back and thinking about it, he''s dead right - it needs some bling to make it

Upsonic IRT1000 on Nut 2.2.1-2.1ubuntu7.2 (Ubuntu Hardy)
Hi all, I have a client who is currently using an UPSonic IRT1000 UPS (http://www.upsonic.com.au/industrial-rt.php), and is running NUT 2.2.1-2.1ubuntu7.2 on Ubuntu Hardy, which I've not been able to get to work using either USB or RS232. I *believe* the UPS is supposed to use the Megatec driver, but am not 100% sure. I can see three possible resolutions to my problem, which leads me to

Charles, the out from the command below as well as the system.log file are below your email. It does look like a permission issue but what one? Charles, We run everything as "root" :) However, we are using NUT 2.6.5. Are we missing something by running 2.6.5 rather then 2.7.1? If so, I can build/install 2.7.1. Blazer_usb Permissions problem: Input/output error
Hi all, I have an eaton ENV800HA connected for a freebsd 9.0 box with nut 2.6.5 installed (on the supported list). The UPS is connected using the Blazer_USB driver (not sure how to check its version). When I kick off upsd it detects the UPS no problems and I get all my information: battery.charge: 100 battery.voltage: 13.60 battery.voltage.high: 13.00 battery.voltage.low: 10.40

Well, 2.6.5 is from August 2012, so it's not the newest. And eventually, we would like people to switch to the shiny new nutdrv_qx driver which is in 2.7.1. But I'm pretty much guessing here

Upsonic PrOffice 650 usb/serial
Hi, I recently installed a Upsonic PrOffice 650 UPS, which is a cheap model[1] available in Australia. It has a serial and USB port, and comes with a note saying WinPower software can be downloaded from [2]. Investigation of the software shows it to be Java with native libraries for serial and USB. Disassembling various classes reveals it talks at 2400 baud, and has a protocol similar to

Neither the FreeBSD
