Intermittently denying access to webshop
Hello shorewall-users,
we have a strange problem where some of our customers cannot access our
webshop, but most of the customers can. I have been slowly eliminating
possibilities and am now left with either the firewall (Shorewall 1.4) or the
webshop server.
What appears a lot in the logfiles is:

integrate with php-script
I have built a webshop in rails, now it''s time for invoice handling
through a third party. The communication will be done by xml-rpc. The
built in ruby xml-rpc doesnt seem to be compatible with the third party
so I have to use a special php-script (provided by the third party) that
will handle the interaction with them. Where on the server should/can I
put the script? I would prefer

Hi,
I am running a three Node replicated Volume and need to add more
Bricks. What I've read so far this that this is not really possible so
the question is how it should/can be done?
Can I create a replicated Volume with 10000 Bricks where 9997 are

Newbie X100P question
Hello,
I just bought a X100P from digitnetworks.
It is supposed to be a FXO card, but there are 2 rj-11 plug on the card.
One is labelled "phone" and the other "pstn". When i plug the "pstn" on
the wall and the "phone" on my analog phone, everything (incoming and
outgoing calls) works like before (without asterisk).
AFAIU, i should have an FXS card in my

what`s best memory - speed - pc for R?
Hi all,
I need to do massive simulations in the next two years. I estimated
that I will need about 64GB memory, if I do not want to split up the
calculations. Additionally I would like to have it as fast as possible.
Can R handle multi-core processors and can all standard operating
systems handle the same amount of memory and speed?
Perhaps someone could point me to a webshop that sales

NHW codec
Hello,
I don't have advanced on the NHW codec, but now, as a lot of people, I am
following the AOMedia AV1 codec.Just a (late) update of my previous post,
there won't be problem in AOM AV1 with the CABAC scheme, as the codec will
use Daala's multi-symbol entropy coder and/or ANS.That's great! I have even
read on the wiki page, that AV1 will use Daala's PVQ as quantization

NewbieQ - Relational tables
Hi all,
I''m going nuts on a very simple issue. I know what I want but don''t know what
to tell rails to do so. I have a very common setup for managing contacts. A
companies table and a contacts table. As you''ve guessed it''s a one to many
relationship.
The database is setup with the appropriate foreign keys, the models have been
generated and I added the

[LLVMdev] Problems with DAG Combiner
I converted now my back-end with legal i1 lowering to the 2.6 branch and my original problem with the DAG combiner didn't occur any more and seems to be fixed. setOperationAction(ISD::OR, MVT::i1, Promote) also works fine for logical operations.
> What is your SetCCResultType now?
I changed SetCCResultType to return MVT::i1 type.

megatec_usb and "fry's" UPS
Gidday all - I've got a 1700VA dynamix UPS which is USB.
The previous model (with a serial port) worked wonderfully with megatec,
but this new one with USB is not working.
It feels like the kernel is not handing the USB device properly.
The web has not yeilded any useful info.
What can I do from here?

Loudlink Explorer 3.0.0
Hi, I try to use Loudlink Explorer (free download:
http://loudlink.eu/webshop/index.php?main_page=document_general_info&cPath=2&products_id=70).
This program is used to copy mp3's to sd-card for use in Loudlink
devices. I tried to copy by hand, but the files are not properly
recognized by loudlink device without a special formated index file. So
I need this software, sorry.

Fry's Electronics UPS...
Hello,
I am trying to get a "no-brand" (LMS DATA, model no LMSP1200RI) UPS to work with NUT.
I now realise I should have checked compatibility with NUT before purchase. My other UPS (APC) works perfectly.....
Anyway, I have spent a good day trying to get this thing working.

Hi,
Has anyone had success with the Dynamix 650VA, that uses the USB cable?
I can't get megatec_usb to recognize it, I have tried both stable and

Confusing Generic USB UPS cannot be matched
I was dropping off junk at the waste transfer station and scarfed a UPS
out of the pile of old TV's and VCR's. It was in good physical condition
and as I expected, the battery was toast. A new RBC-2 battery restored
it to working condition. Then I tried to get it to talk to some
software. And I am having no luck.
The unit is branded as a Nexxtech Model 6118507 650VA imported into

motherboard for T100P
anyone have a recommendation for a place I can buy cheap motherboards that
supports those 64-bit 3.3 volt PCI slots for the T100P ?
I can't find them at Fry's or anywhere locally. All I can find online is
dual processor server boards that are overkill for this application.
I would like to use a P3/ P4/ AMD single processor. No Xeons or dual
processor junk.
Anyone know why digium

new ATA box for sale by Linksys
Fry's Electronics has a new Linksys 2 line ATA box for sale for $59.99
retail. They have a version with a router for $89.99. We picked the
non-router version up and it seems to be a rebadged Sipura SPA-2000. The
box has a Vonage service package inside as well, but it does work with other
services.
The box also has a "User Guide" meant for end-users that is very well

Ogv file only plays in VLC / Can't be used by most tools.
Hi,
I'm new here - thanks for having me. (Sorry if I'm in the wrong place or a noob.)
I downloaded the Theora encoder sample (ver 1.1.1), modified it to encode a sequence of bitmaps, and created an OGV file.
The OGV file plays fine in the latest VLC (1.0.5), but I can't do much else with it:
I tried uploading to YouTube, and the video just comes out really corrupt:
