Solution for SOLA-330 UPS !!!
Hi To all on this list... I emailed the EATON (the company that has bought out SOLA) to request some information about the pin-out for this model UPS and I got a reply today! The answer is really simple! this model UPS just uses a normal serial cable that is pin 1-1 through to 9 -9 and I now have it work as it should via the megatec driver :) Scott Evans VK7HSE Phone: +61362291658 Mobile:

SOLA-330 2 Questions !!!
Hi... I'm almost to the point of pulling hair! I was recently given a SOLA-330 UPS However, it didn't come with the comms cable so I'm having some trouble trying to find a pin-out for this UPS and secondly exactly what driver to use with NUT ?? I've got the users manual for a SOLA-325 (from website) and this has a pin-out for this model but clearly it's not the same for

Adding a 'refresh' value to the upsstats web page
I'd like to have the UPS status web page automatically refreshed. I've found a reference to using @REFRESH@ in the upsstats.html page, but as far as I can tell in looking at the code, somewhere I need to provide a value to the refreshdelay variable, and I see no way to do that other than changing the source code. I'm using nut 2.2.

Slave as master
Hi All! I need to set up machine as slave which will act as? a master to some subordinate clients. The machine is question is a master node a parallel cluster which I want it to act as a master for the computing nodes but set itself as a slave with a master exclusively controlling the UPS elsewhere. Is this possible and how? --- Madhurjya ______________________________________ Physics

A new project using AsciiDoc: Network UPS Tools
Since I've heard about AsciiDoc (thanks ESR), I'm in the process of revamping the full Network UPS Tools documentation and website. Without going into the usual "it curred my desease, got my wife back home, and made me won a billion", it really saved my life ^_ ^ I was searching for such tool for years! thanks a lot Stuart and others. Kudos for the work! NUT revamp is not yet

NUT 2.4.1 crashes on FreeBSD - additional info
Hi Volker, I forward your request to the user list since I don't currently have much time to process it. quickly testing 2.4.1, I wasn't able to reproduce it. a question: was it working with the exact same context/config with 2.2.2? cheers, Arnaud -- Linux / Unix Expert R&D - Eaton - http://www.eaton.com/mgeops Network UPS Tools (NUT) Project Leader -

demo site
Hi Arnaud, The demo site for NUT appears to be unreachable: $ demo.networkupstools.org Host demo.networkupstools.org not found: 3(NXDOMAIN) Maybe the recent DNS changes have something to do with it? Additionally, please note that, as of October 26th this year, I am no longer making any guarantee that my home server, which is still used for the demo site, will stay up 24h/24. In my new flat,

Model list missing my UPS, here is info for inclusion on the list
Hello Niels, thanks a lot for this compatibility submission. This is part of the remaining things at Eaton. I've added an entry to the new Hardware Compatibility List: http://new.networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html BTW, have you tested a shutdown with this unit? Otherwise, you should! thanks again, Arnaud Quette Le samedi 02 octobre 2010 ? 12:42 +0200, Niels Kristian Jensen a ?crit :

Joining forces with the Network UPS Tools
Hi Powermen ;-) I recently came across the Powerman project (http://sourceforge.net/projects/powerman/), pointed by Tony Merenda, from Opengear (thanks Tony). Congrats for your work in this area! I've thought a bit about Powerman and NUT since then... NUT currently supports hosts of UPSs and few PDUs (RPCs), and provides tons of features: http://test.networkupstools.org
