everything is in the title... as a side note to Arjen: I've not had time to consider Kirill update on al175. Any thought on this? RE Socomec ups protocl
Hi Saulius, The spec you sent me is simply a Megatec excerpt: http://www.networkupstools.org/protocols/megatec.html So Socomec is simply a megatec rebranding (selling by simply putting its name on). As per the NUT compatibility list (http://www.networkupstools.org/compat/stable.html), Sicon are supported by the powercom driver. But since it's a megatec unit, you should preferably try the

Driver removal notification: energizerups
Hi Viktor, Just to notify you that your energizerups driver is being removed from the NUT tree, as of 2.4.0-pre1. If you wish to see it entering the tree again, please contact the Development mailing list to talk about it. I do recall that you are not maintaining it anymore since you don't own such a unit anymore, so it's really a simple notification. Merry Christmas and happy New Year.

[nut-commits] svn commit r2504 - in branches/AsciiDoc/docs: . website
FYI, I've fixed the below error in the log, directly on the server. The "pre-revprop-change" hook is not in place, so "svn propedit / propset" do not work. 2010/8/28 Arnaud Quette > Author: aquette > Date: Sat Aug 28 00:23:05 2010 > New Revision: 2504 > URL: http://trac.networkupstools.org/projects/nut/changeset/2504 > > Log: > Fix page titles for

Opensource bits from EATON
Dear users and developers, just a small mail to inform you that: * EATON protocols library is now mostly complete! UPSCode II has been published for some time now. I've just released this morning a full set for the XCP protocol (Powerware), including the general information, and Alarm / Meters maps. The MGE section was already complete for long. * some more development units have been

Christmas mail
Dear NUT users and developers, A bit later than usual, here is the traditional end of the year mail to sum up the past year, think about the future and make some announcements. Those of you who have followed closely the project already know: 2008 has been a harder year than ever. And the UPS world has somehow finished a full revamp cycle, started 2 years ago! * A new sponsor: Last year,

A new project using AsciiDoc: Network UPS Tools
Since I've heard about AsciiDoc (thanks ESR), I'm in the process of revamping the full Network UPS Tools documentation and website. Without going into the usual "it curred my desease, got my wife back home, and made me won a billion", it really saved my life ^_ ^ I was searching for such tool for years! thanks a lot Stuart and others. Kudos for the work! NUT revamp is not yet

Joining forces with the Network UPS Tools
Hi Powermen ;-) I recently came across the Powerman project (http://sourceforge.net/projects/powerman/), pointed by Tony Merenda, from Opengear (thanks Tony). Congrats for your work in this area! I've thought a bit about Powerman and NUT since then... NUT currently supports hosts of UPSs and few PDUs (RPCs), and provides tons of features: http://test.networkupstools.org
