HP T/R2200 G2
Has anyone had any success with the HP T/R2200 G2? I have used the T/R2200 with nut a few times before and it works great, but the G2 doesn't want to talk to me. I have tried bcmxcp from 2.0.4, 2.2.2, and svn, as well as the usb drivers. Maybe the G2 isn't a rebadged powerware unit? Thanks James

doveadm sending invalid AUTHENTICATE to uw-imap
I'm migrating a legacy uw-imap system to Dovecot, on a Rocky (RHEL) 8 server running Dovecot 2.3.16-3 from their repos. I am using a master user to import all users for an imaps connection from the old server to the new. On a trial run however, it worked for about half the users. Half are giving an error of the form: dsync(user): Error: imapc(host:993): Command '1 AUTHENTICATE PLAIN

Asking hard questions about the NUT architecture
I've spent the better part of two working days reading the NUT code and documentation and thinking about typical modern use cases for the software. I'm now questioning whether I want to get any further involved with this project, because it seems to me that the codebase is a huge and complicated pile of machinery mainly aimed at solving problems that no longer matter. I could be wrong

TRIPPLITE OMNIVSINT80 Compatibility
Using this UPS in the UK on 240V mains. Connected via USB: Bus 001 Device 002: ID 09ae:0001 Tripp Lite Requires tripplite_usb driver as it is (Product ID: 0001). There is an entry in the compatibity list for OMNIVS800 USB (protocol 2012) using usbhid-ups which is little misleading (although I guess maybe correct for some instances of the UPS). OMNIVS1000 USB (older; product ID: 0001) is

Decoding without read callbacks.
Hey i've recently written some directshow filters for ogg vorbis and speex (www.illiminable.com/ogg/) and i thought i might add flac too... i've had a quick look at the C++ api and it appears that the decoding works by having a read callback to get it's data. In directshow everything is pushed into the decoder it can't ask for data when it wants... i'm just wondering if there

He may be able to get the nut packages from the distro CD,but no updates. Gene, if you are running Fedora 10, an update to 12 would be well worth it, and the nut rpm's are in the standard repo ========================================================== Chris Candreva -- chris at westnet.com -- (914) 948-3162 WestNet Internet Services of Westchester http://www.westnet.com/

Is anyone working on the bestfcom driver ?
I've just started using nut , and one of my UPSes is a Best Ferrups 1.8kva bestfcom seems to be the driver that would support it, but as currently in 2.0.2 it doesn't work on the FE1.8kv. I've done some hacking this afternoon and have it basically working. This is the only Best I have, so if anyone else is working on this, I was hoping to co-ordinate so I don't break any

install failure
Hello, i am trying to install "Middle School Success Essentials" from Topics Education, on my 0.9.28 wine installation, which works OK with some MS progs. The initial (unpacking?) progress bar completes and then i get the error below, without any recourse. Does anyone have any ideas? (FWIW, the error is shown in the installer box when you click on the "Details" button). TIA
