20 kb/s as max with TCPonly
Hi there! Today I've tried a FTP connection (me with TCPOnly send file to another no TCPOnly), but the upload bandwidth was about 20 kb/s, while connecting to the other directly (I upload a file to him via FTP) the connection was about 5 times faster... what's wrong? thanks

Inputing Excel data into R to make a map
Hi everyone, I'm trying to input an excel datasheet with city names and lat+longs, that has already been converted to a .csv file and make a map using R with my data. My datasheet is 30 cities, with their lat+long, temp, elevation. So far all I'm able to do is load the datasheet into R, I installed the map+ maptools packages so I can see a map of the US in R, but I don't know how I

Max number of PCIe cards
Hi, For training sessions, I'm evaluating the possibility to use a single physical server to host 5 virtual servers, each with its own Dahdi PCIe card, instead of using 5 physical machines, hoping a single physical server would easier to transport, more quiet and cheaper to provision and maintain. As you can guess, each machine shouldn't be heavy loaded (a couple of calls, for each). If

Which echo-can for Digium B410P ?
Hi, Which echo-canceler shall I pick for Digium B410P ? Is HPEC relevant ? Reading from its datasheet, it seems related to analog cards. format(object.size(...), units): KB, MB, and GB instead of Kb, Mb, and Gb?
I cannot remember if this has already been discussed or not, and I'm a bit worried I'm throwing off an endless debate. If it's already settled, no need to discuss it further. TOPIC #1: Shouldn't R use KB, MB and GB when reporting on sizes kilobytes, megabytes and gigabytes? More specifically, format() for object_size objects (returned by object.size()) uses Kb, Mb and Gb, which

PXA270 and it's framebuffer - 2700G OpenGL ES

Yet another faxing issue..
Hello, fax/ata(ht286) -> asterisk/tdm04b -> pstn fax machine I can fax out from the sip side, but I can't fax in from the PSTN side. When I try to send a fax, asterisk sees the call and show me this: "Redirecting Zap/1-1 to fax extension" "Timeout on Zap/1-1" TCPDUMP doesn't show any activity to the extension that I configured to be the fax machine.

Faxing Suggestions
I wrote a week or two ago about a problem I was having with a TDM400P with 2 FXS. The problem was reliable fax transfers. There were often slow or had communication failures during transmission. Richard replied to my post and told me this is an ongoing problem that might have a solution in the weeks to come. However, I was wondering if anyone had any alternate solutions for faxing with an

Asterisk Faxing Support
Asterisk 1.2 has no support of t.38 whatsoever, the call will drop before t.38 is ever utilised, not even pass-thru. 1.4 Adds support for T.38 pass through only and no other sort of faxing, the endpoint must support T.38 and you must send your call to a T.38 gateway and you must not use NAT anywhere in your network and you must enable re-invites which could cause CDRs not to reflect the true

Problems with reading data by readWorksheetFromFile of XLConnect Package
Hi, Attached are two datasheet to be read. My raw data "130502temp.xlsx" contains numbers with ' symbols, and they can't be read as numbers. Even if I copy and paste as numbers to form a new file "130502temp_number1.xlsx", they could not be read smoothly. 1. How can I read the datasheet as numbers? 2. How can I treat the notation "-" as (1)

IAX2 trunking, Voicepulse Connect, and Outbound Faxing
I've just stumbled across a rather weird problem and was wondering if someone could shed some light on the situation. In testing faxing through Asterisk using Voicepulse Connect for trunking I am able to receive faxes without a hitch. Quite impressive considering previous experience with certain other VOIP providers. Today I finally got around to testing outbound faxing and found that if

Setup faxing with latest CVS/STABLE
I have been trying to get faxing working with stable but I have had no luck since cvs 1.0.4. I've tried 3 versions of SpanDSP and the system answers the fax but looks like it isn't training properly. Anyone have a reliable T.38 Solution
Aloha, We are looking to roll a solution that will have the following network layout: ISDN-PRI <--> Asterisk <--> T.38 <--> ATA <--> Fax Does version 1.8 with the Digium fax driver have this capability? I like 1.8 because it is a long term support version. What ATA's are people using? Any working solutions would be great! Aloha, Matt

NUT supporting Modbus TCP
Yeah, I have its datasheet (it's a Xantrex XW invertor by the way). I do not know why creating a more-or-less generic driver is an issue. Of course, there are Modbus beasts that can scare everyone but mostly one would need to read either intreger or float numbers out of Modbus registers in order to decide whether or not to start or stop the shutdown process. 24 ???? 2017 ?. 19:25:14
