2.6.31 xenified kernel - not ready for production
Hi, I just want to know if somebody use 2.6.31.4 xenified kernel (aka OpenSUSE) in production? We have been testing it on new Nehalem Xeon server for few weeks w/o any problem. But as soon we tried it on production machine - after several production domUs started - hard OS failure. We had to switch back to 2.6.18.8 - xen stock kernel. Asterisk GUI - the one from Diguim/Asterisk - issues on Asterisk 1.6x
Hello Folks; Perhaps I am chasing my tail here. Before I go any further, is this compatible/supported in Asterisk 1.6x? If so, I would be willing to post any manager.conf or http.conf snippets needed. When I attempt to open the Asterisk Web GUI, I get a 'page not found'. I am sure this is something really minor - something silly that I missed. Any words of wisdom? Glen

Compiling to use IMAP: how?
Hey, all. I was going through a "make configure" on my Asterisk 1.4.23 Ubuntu box, and noticed something I'd forgotten: Asterisk now supports IMAP_STORAGE. However, when I highlight it, it tells me that there's an unmet dependency, presumably for imap_tk. I've "apt-get installed" everything I can think of that might be pertinent after some Googling (e.g.,

OpenH323 channel driver, Q931 Calling party number
Hello! I've got a question regarding the Q.931 Setup-field Calling Party Number. It contains five things: Type of number, Number Plan, Presentation and Screening indicators and the actual number. Our provider uses some of those to decide if the numer should be presented or not to the outside world. I've done a crude hack in our GnuGK to always change those so that our numbers are

Speex & openh323
hi, I'm currently trying to use Speex with Asterisk from my OpenH.323 client. It seems to mismatch the codecs, below is my log from Asterisk. My Openh323 client crashes in responding to a Speex request for bits per frame. I'm guessing it either isn't running the codec correctly or doesn't support the same subset of speex codecs as openh323. (I'm using speex-1.0.1 with
