Re: [ovirt-users] Bug in Snapshot Removing
Small addition again: This error shows up in the log while removing snapshots WITHOUT rendering the Vms unresponsive — Jun 01 01:33:45 mc-dc3ham-compute-02-live.mc.mcon.net libvirtd[1657]: Timed out during operation: cannot acquire state change lock Jun 01 01:33:45 mc-dc3ham-compute-02-live.mc.mcon.net vdsm[6839]: vdsm vm.Vm ERROR vmId=`56848f4a-cd73-4eda-bf79-7eb80ae569a9`::Error getting block

Re: [ovirt-users] Bug in Snapshot Removing
Hello Soeren. I've started to look at this issue and I'd agree that at first glance it looks like a libvirt issue. The 'cannot acquire state change lock' messages suggest a locking bug or severe contention at least. To help me better understand the problem I have a few questions about your setup. >From your earlier report it appears that you have 15 VMs running on the

Re: [ovirt-users] Bug in Snapshot Removing
Hi, I would send those, but unfortunately we did not think about the journals getting deleted after a reboot. I just made the journals persistent on the servers, we are trying to trigger the error again last time we only got half way through the VM’s when removing the snapshots so we have a good chance that it comes up again. Also the libvirt logs to the journal not to libvirtd.log, i would

Re: [ovirt-users] Bug in Snapshot Removing
Hi Adam, Hi Eric, We had this issue again a few minutes ago. One machine went down exactly the same way as described, the machine had only one snapshot and it was the only snapshot that was removed, before that in the same scriptrun we deleted the snapshots of 15 other Vms, some without, some with 1 and some with several snapshots. Can i provide anything from the logs that helps ? Regards

certbot stopped working on CentOS 7: pyOpenSSL module missing required functionality
Not directly an answer to your question, but we had so many problems with the certbot in different constellations, that we moved to https://github.com/acmesh-official/acme.sh which works just fine basically everywhere cheers Soeren ?On 05.10.20, 15:18, "CentOS on behalf of Alexander Farber" <centos-bounces at centos.org on behalf of alexander.farber at gmail.com> wrote:

CDR userfield not written into DB
Hi everybody, i've been googling for quite some time now but can't find an answer to my problem... I'm using Asterisk 1.2.12.1 with mysql as the cdr backend. In the dialplan i've written exten => 1234,n,Set(CDR(userfield)=blah) exten => 1234,n,Answer() exten => 1234,n,Queue(.....) exten => 1234,n,Hangup() When I'm doing a call I can see that the statement is

traffic not going through tunnel
Dear all, we have a very strange problem, - we have 3 VPN endpoints - all are in one NETWORK - all daemons come up and connect without any problem and normally we have no problem working through the VPN but in some cases the connection does not work because the traffic leaves the TAP interface on one VPN endpoint but never arrives on the other end, the similarities between the packages seem to

Cannot install/run very important application
Hello everybody! I've got a big problem: In my small business I use a Home-banking software which I got from my bank. Using it for many years now, it became very very important for me. Needless to say, it's a Windows software. Up to now, it was a Win 3.1 software which ran inside the Windows-Box of my ancient OS/2-PC. (The only reason why I still have this PC runnig OS/2). This summer I

Possible to light up a LED on Snom phones?
Hi everybody! I've setup my dialplan so that if an extension dials *21*, that extension is added/removed as a queue member to a queue. (State toggled). But it would be great to get an "optical feedback" of that phone's state regarding the queue membership. Does someone know if it is possible to light up a LED under this szenario? Many thanks! Hello; I was using the 1.8 version of Asterisk. However, due to a problem I had to update. Update reporting system is broken when you have made. Current version 11.10. Re: [ovirt-users] Bug in Snapshot Removing
Dear Adam First we were using a python script that was working on 4 threads and therefore removing 4 snapshots at the time throughout the cluster, that still caused problems. Now i took the snapshot removing out of the threaded part an i am just looping through each snapshot on each VM one after another, even with ³sleeps² inbetween, but the problem remains. But i am getting the impression that

"Register Attacks" End of ENUM ?
Hello again! after it being "relatively quiet" her for the last weeks, my Astrerisk server was the target of 3 of that nasty REGISTER attacks during the last days. While I can see not much danger coming from these attacks (I use very long, complicated random generated passwords), they are still very annoying, because they always lead to my server crashing. (I think it's some out of

Bug in Snapshot Removing
Dear all I am not sure if the mail just did not get any attention between all the mails and this time it is also going to the libvirt mailing list. I am experiencing a problem with VM becoming unresponsive when removing Snapshots (Live Merge) and i think there is a serious problem. Here are the previous mails, http://lists.ovirt.org/pipermail/users/2015-May/033083.html The problem is on a

register suddenly fails
Hi everybody, I've got a very strange problem: As far as I remember I didn't change anything on my Asterisk side. I have 2 SIP providers to which I can place outbound calls. Today I noticed that outbound calls to provider "inode" fail (and inbound from this provider too). On the CLI I get every 20 seconds following messages: Nov 9 20:01:07 NOTICE[952]: chan_sip.c:5422
