connecting to SIP Provider with virtual IP from pacemaker cluster
Hello ! i am new to this list and asterisk. I run asterisk 1.4 on a OpenSuSE 11.4. My SIP Provider needs my IP to connect the local area number to my IP and also for there firewall. I plan to run asterisk in a pacemaker cluster that is not the problem and works. My problem is the virtual IP from the cluster and the connection to the SIP Provider. My Server has 2 NIC's one intern to

Tinc and security
Hello, I just read this document, especially the section about Tinc : http://www.cs.auckland.ac.nz/~pgut001/pubs/linux_vpn.txt It's an old one, but i would like to know the state of the Tinc security level for now. I don't scared about possible security weakness of Tinc because i only use it over our internal operator network (MPLS), but maybe one day will come the need to connect a

QOS Wishes
Hello all, It would be a great feature if QOS could be implemented in Tinc. It's not to do any sort of comparison, but with OpenVPN, the traffic can be shapped. In the way that tinc works as mesh VPN, the great feature would be to fix a shapping value on each nodes, known and respected by each others. (like MPLS does) As an exemple, you've got 3 nodes A,B and C, you want Tinc flows on A

Gateways
I have a DrayTek Vigor3300V gateway with 8 FXO ports. I am trying to configure asterisk to dial out on the gateway. I have one of the FXO ports configured on sip account 100. If I dial the sip account then the router gives me dial tone, with which I can dial a number. Unfortunately this is not the behaviour I desire. I want to setup the FXO port as a trunk with out it giving me a dial tone. I have

East-west traffic network filter
Hello, I would like to make filter that allows communication only between specified VMs. Those VMs should be specified by their MAC address. The filter should extend clean-traffic but I was not able to get it working with that reference. I have came up with modified clean-traffic which works fine [1]. Is there a way to achieve the same behavior with reference to clean-traffic? Thank you. Best

Looking for Asterisk+Pacemaker+Corosync+DRBD example
I'm trying to setup a pair of FreePBX-4.211.64 boxes using Pacemaker, Corosync, and DRBD. All the examples I've found so far use Heartbeat, but Heartbeat is not in the repositories and doesn't want to compile from source. Does anyone have a working configuration they can share or a tutorial they can point me to? Also, what does drbdlinks bring to the party? Isn't just linking

Re: snapshots with virsh in a pacemaker cluster
Pacemaker always knows where its resources are running. Query it, stop the domain, then use the queried location as the host to which to issue the snapshot? CentOS 6: corosync and pacemaker won't stop (patch)
Hi, I cannot 'halt' my CentOS 6 servers while running corosync+pacemaker. I believe the runlevels used to stop corosync and pacemaker are not in the correct order and create the infinite "Waiting for corosync services to unload..." loop thing. This is my first time with this cluster technology but apparently pacemaker has to be stopped /before/ corosync. Applying the following

[Clustering] No OCFS2 Clusters with Pacemaker/Corosync?
Hello Fellow CentOS users. I was hoping to get some information on Pacemaker clusters using OCFS2 on CentOS 6.x. In my initial attempts to get this to work, I realized that Pacemaker is packaged much differently on CentOS than it is on Debian or SUSE. For example, /usr/sbin/dlm_controld.pcmk is missing and ocfs2-tools is nowhere to be found. Users could of course pull in packages from say Oracle

Where's crm (from pacemaker-cli) on CentOS 6.4?
Hi, After upgrade the nodes on one of my HA clusters I find that "crm" isn't on the pacemaker-cli package. After some research on the web I find this: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/linuxha/pacemaker/84376?page=last That thread points to this OpenSuSE repo: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/network:/ha-clustering/RedHat_RHEL-6/ Which suply the new
