mergeing a large number of large .csvs
Dear R help;
I'm currently trying to combine a large number (about 30 x 30) of large
.csvs together (each at least 10000 records). They are organized by plots,
hence 30 X 30, with each group of csvs in a folder which corresponds to the
plot. The unmerged csvs all have the same number of columns (5). The fifth
column has a different name for each csv. The number of rows is different.

Hi,
I've read this thread in this list history

Has anyone been successful when integrating latest version of Asterisk (10

lmtp problem with wrong index path
Hello,
we've been using dovecot for pop3 and imap for some time now and we're
in the middle of deploying lmtp as well, however we're run into a
problem we can't solve.
Specifically for some reason it seems that dovecot tries to write to the
wrong index file during some, but not all, lmtp deliveries.
If lmtp tries to deliver to person user_a at domain, sometimes it'll try to

Maniuplate callerID based off of callerID
Hey all!
I'm trying to figure out a way to manipulate a call's caller ID based off of
the caller's caller ID. Basically, I've got a situation where anything that
goes through an Nortel Opt11's IVR comes out with the caller ID 400 (the
Opt11's IVR's ext). When the call goes out the trunk that the call is
destined for, I'd like to grab the 400 caller ID and

Opaque error message and R GUI crashing while using glmnet
Hello all,
I am having trouble with the glmnet package. I used it for the first
time last week, after updating R to the current version (2.10.1,
running in Windows XP). It seemed to be working fine as I explored
what it could do with one of my datasets. A day or two later, using
the exact same dataset, it suddenly stopped working.
I get the following error every time I try to use glmnet with

After seeing Olivier's post about his recent failures on compile and it referencing NBS (Network Broadcast Sound), which I had never heard of, I was googling to find out more and that was one of the Google hits

Asterisk 1.8.3
I have deployed several 1.8.3.2 systems as upgrades of customers systems
and now I am seeing random crashes. For some reason the builds lock up and
stop taking sip connections. Existing calls stay on but when the user hangs
up no new calls or reg attempts work. In most cases a "core restart now"
cleans things up. Some times I have to kill the asterisk process. The
stability of 1.8.2

Running as non-root
Hello.
I would like to run asterisk as an user other than root. I have seen some
tutorials on the web, but I would like to know if there is some ?official?
how-to for this. Is there?
I looked at a thread on reviewboard regarding this
(https://reviewboard.asterisk.org/r/654/). It was Paul Belangers work trying
to make the installation process take care of this. But the conclusion seem

app_rpt and chan_usbradio removal from trunk
Good morning,
There is a new patch up on reviewboard[1] right now for the removal of
app_rpt and chan_usbradio from Asterisk trunk. As it stands right now
these two modules do not appear to be maintained in this repository and
have out-of-date code.
Russellb's patch will see these to modules removed from asterisk trunk
(asterisk 11). If a large part of the community wishes to help

Another minor IMAP LIST issue
I've just noticed that Dovecot 1.0-stable and 1.0-test78 don't include
mbox folders with names beginning with "." in the IMAP LIST output.
These are often used to store "hidden" folders for storing things like
IMAP client configuration (e.g. Pine 4.x, IMHO, Prayer). Usually the
user shouldn't be able to see these, but there are occassions when they
might. It seems
