asterisk syntax highlighting for gedit
Hi,
Apologies if this is a duplicate - been having mail server issues and I don't think I managed to send it when I tried this morning.
It seems there is no .conf syntax highlighting script available for gedit. I'm thinking of putting one together myself, but don't want to reinvent the wheel.
So I'm just enquiring if anyone knows of one that already exists that i've missed.

*8 pickup not releasing channel
Hi,
At a site running Asterisk 1.6.2.14 there is a problem whereby if someone does a *8 pickup, then sometimes it will keep hold of the channel after seemingly being hung up. The channel shows up if you do "core show channels" and the device state is IN_USE.
I couldn't find a bug report on this - there is https://issues.asterisk.org/view.php?id=18654 but that seems to be different

tab-completion + running R from gedit
Dear R-users,
having a bit of experience with R under windows, I recently switched to
linux (ubuntu 10.4, 64-bit).
I'm using gedit 2.30.3 and GNOME Terminal 2.30.2
Everything works fine, except that occasionally gedit and/or the terminal
seem to behave strangely.
For example:
Thr_min <- 0
Thr_max <- 10
Thr_grid <- seq(from=Thr_min,to=Thr_max,length=101)
cn_best <-

Re: TextMate Bundle using Gedit
For what I know you can''t use the TM bundles...
But like mgutz pointed there''s a lot of plugins. There is some
alternatives to achieve something like TM bundles. Look at this links:
- GMate - http://github.com/lexrupy/gmate/ (http://
alexandredasilva.wordpress.com/gmate/)
- gedit-rails - http://github.com/mig/gedit-rails/
Think that GMate is the most complete. I use these as

gedit font size
We recently installed CentOS 7 on a system. We chose the GNOME
desktop install option and have used yum to install all of the
available updates.? The first run of yum update yielded about
450 megabytes of items to be installed or updated. All of the
updates have been successful.
One issue with our new CentOS system is that some users want
to use gedit, but the displayed font size is extremely

Re: TextMate Bundle using Gedit
I do not think so. As you probably know, there are several plugins
(snippets, project browser?) you can enable to get close though. You
might want to try Netbeans. I switch between Ubuntu 8.04 and OS X
regularly and I prefer Netbeans over Textmate. It''s that good.

In CentOS 8 new install, old /home, .desktop opens in gedit
Ok, hoping someone has seen this or at least knows where to look.
I have been waiting around a bit to upgrade my system to CentOS 8, and
actually wanted to wait on 8.2, but had an opportunity this week to
actually do the work, so took the opportunity.? Here was my process:
1.) Installed CentOS 8.1.1911 on a spare mSATA SSD in my spare M6700
laptop.? Installed the RPMfusion nVidia drivers, the
