Structure Padding and GetElementPtr
Here is an example: I can define two classes: A and Apad: class A { bool b1, b2; double d1; int i1; }; class Apad { bool b1, b2; bool pad1[6]; double d1; int i1; bool pad2[4]; }; A and Apad will have the same layout, from the LLVM IR level: %class.A = type <{ i8, i8, [6 x i8], double, i32, [4 x i8] }> %class.Apad = type { i8, i8, [6 x i8], double, i32, [4

improve compatibility with Galaxy tablet?
See below, although none of these things should be specific to the Galaxy tablet (my older tablet works fine, too). On 2020-01-03 13:20, Robert Jeffares wrote: > Is the Galaxy using Wi-Fi ? Structure Padding and GetElementPtr
Yes. LLVM types != C++ types. There is no mapping except that produced if you add debug info. Have any of you folks been able to get linux based soft phones working well with *? I'd appreciate links to howtos/docs if you have them, and/or samples of working configs for * and the linux

Hello, I have a customer who has their front door integrated to their current phone system. If someone presses the buzzer, the secretaries phone will ring, and she can talk to the person at the door. By pressing ** she can release the door. Anyone have any sort of integration like this. Are there IP devices anyone is using? They have a pizza box server as their asterisk server with

Any free video (or audio) softphone VOIP client under Linux with touchscreen friendly interface ?
Hi, I'm curious if anyone knows of any possibility to use video VOIP client (like Ekiga or Linphone or...) under Linux that could be operated by touchscreen friendly GUI (bigger buttons, large keypad, etc...) ? I like Ekiga, but GUI is small and cannot be operated via touchscreen... But maybe there are some skins for existing clients that are more touchscreen friendly ? Thanks in

Hi, I just started with Asterisk as I am very unhappy with the functionality of my current PBX at home. I try to understand everything and play around, but it is not as easy as I thought. So please be patient if this is a too easy question for You. I installed Asterisk 1.4.26.3 on a Debian Lenny with IP 192.168.2.147 My extension.conf looks like this: [default] exten => 1001,1,Answer()

Thirdlane Connect can be used as a softphone. It works in modern browsers (no installation is required), on Mac, Windows and Linux desktops, and on mobile phones. Besides basic softphone functionality, it provides instant messaging, group chat (channels), voice and video conferencing, and screen sharing. It integrates with a variety of applications and CRMs such as Salesforce, Zoho, Zendesk,

Estimating bitrate during a real-time voip call
Hi, Although this maybe considered out of scope here, but I'll ask anyway. Opus has remarkable flexibility for changing encoder bitrate during a call. Are there any suggestions about how bandwidth/capacity between the two endpoints can be measured/estimated during a call so that the outgoing bitrate can be adjusted accordingly? Thanks, Manpreet. -------------- next part -------------- An

Estimating bitrate during a real-time voip call
Hi Dragos, The issue is that not all packet loss maybe congestion related. Often, reducing bitrate seems to have no impact on improving packet loss. Thanks, Manpreet. SPA 3000 won't relay DTMF to doorphone
Hello, Before throwing in the towel with my Sipura 3000 has anyone had much success with that adapter connected to a door phone? In our setup a doorphone is connected to the SPA's fxs port. When a visitor rings, asterisk calls a group of Polycoms and the person who answers has to enter *1 to trigger the door opening. However it seems the SPA doesn't relay the DTMF's to the
