svn branches for dhadi and its tools
Hi. I want to use the new asterisk 1.4 with dahdi, but I would like
to know the svn branches for the dahdi, so I can use them that way --
much easier to keep up with bug fixes, etc.
Thanks.

problems inserting dahdi modules using Debian Leni
Hi. I have a Debian Leni system with asterisk-1.8. I was trying to
get meetme to work and it depends on dahdi, so I compiled dahdi-trunk
and dahdi-tools-trunk, however, when trying to insert dahdi_dummy, it
complained about symbol crc_ccitt_table, although the module was
actually there in the kernel tree. So, I took the Debian source, and I
had the config and I did make Bzimage, make modules

asterisk 1.6.0 seems to have improper dial status when dialing dahdi extension
Hi. When I dial a Dahdi extension using asterisk 1.6.0, and there is no
answer, the extension hangs up, but the dial status is busy instead of
no answer. How do I get this to work -- do I need to update dahdi? The
card is an X400p using its FXS module.
Thanks in advance for any ideas on this.

Problem with chan_dahdi and conferencing
Hi. I am using asterisk-1.8 and I am having problems getting
conferencing to work properly. I did modprobe on dahdi and did load =>
chan_dahdi.so in /etc/asterisk/modules.conf. Now I do get conferencing,
but meetme says

for conference, conference recording disabled (is chan_dahdi loaded?)

Hi. I am using gentoo kernel 2.6.27-r2 and dahdi trunk svn 5211 and
it will not compile with this kernel whereas it does compile with
2.6.25. Here is the relevant portion of the build:

No cdr_csv after upgrade from 1.2.x to 1.4.x
After upgrading from 1.2.x to 1.4.x call detail records are not being
written to /var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv/Master.csv
In cdr_manager.conf I have
[general]
Enabled = yes
Apparently there is something else that needs to be configured for call
detail records in 1.4.x. Can someone point me in the right direction?

nested parallel workers
Hi Simon,
I'm having trouble with nested parallel workers, specifically, forking
inside socket connections.
When mclapply is called inside a SOCK, PSOCK or FORK worker I get an
error in unserialize().
cl <- makeCluster(1, "SOCK")
fun = function(i) {
library(parallel)
mclapply(1:2, sqrt)
}
Failure occurs after multiple calls to clusterApply:

audio problem with asterisk and meetme conference
Hi. I have a problem with my audio in meetme conference under
asterisk 13 using Debian buster compiled from source. The problem is
that there is some sort of distortion in the audio -- a workaround is
always to lower the listen volume (*4). I see nothing in the log and
so I wonder what is happening. I have dahdi loaded so I can record
the conferences.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions and

Oh, I forgot to mention that Asterisk 15 went End-Of-Life last Thursday.

Hi. I am having problems accessing subdirectories on a samba share. I

Problems with Voice conferencing
How did you install these packages -- make sure you do ./configure and
if needed make menuselect in each one of these before the make and
make install. This is the only thing I can think of -- check whether
there are any built-in modules as well.

MeetMe Conference on Asterisk-1.4.13
Hello all,
I am planning to setup a MeetMe conference functionality on
Asterisk-1.4.13without having a Zaptel card. All users will be
calling through SIP only.
AFAIK, the said application needs a timer which makes use of the ztdummy
module. I have basically two (2) problems I am encountering here that [1] I
can't load the ztdummy.ko module and [2] Asterisk don't run when running it
