Asus Xonar DX PCIe sound card?
Can anyone here report success or failure at making the Asus Xonar DX
PCI-express sound card work under CentOS 4? Or failing that, 5?
Google only turned up people using it on Ubunt or SuSE...
I need to specify the addition of audio outputs to a HP DL360 system,
and don't want to buy stuff that will be a pain to get working. :-)
Or can anyone recommend any other simple sound cards for

Strange problem with PRI on 64-bit?
I have some more investigation to do on this, but I wanted to see if anyone
here had any insight into the issue I've run into.
The hardware is a HP DL360 G6 with a TE420 gen 5 4-port T1 PRI card. It is one
of several systems that have been running without issue since 2010/2011. They
have all been running CentOS 4 32-bit with Zaptel 1.4.12.1 (with patch for gen
5 card), libpri 1.2.8 and

Trouble with TE122 on HP DL120G6 - can't disable USB
I have recently built a single-T1 Asterisk box using an HP DL120G6
with a Digium TE122 card.
I was finding that I was getting missed interrupts on the TE122,
causing the driver to report that it was increasing latency. It kept
doing this until the T1 did not work reliably.
I tried my usual procedure of disabling the USB subsystem in the BIOS
(or so I thought), but I found that the USB drivers

TE420 issue: card 0 span N: isr2=XX isr3=Y
I have just built a new system using an HP DL360G7 with a TE420 T1 card,
and this is the first system using a generation 7 server. I'm not sure
whether that is an issue or not.
I am using Asterisk 1.2, and Zaptel 1.4.12.1 with patches for GEN5 of
the TE420 card. I have successfully used this combination on several
systems based on the DL360G6 and TE420(gen5), which have been in
production for

CentOS on HP DL360e with B120i
I am trying to install CentOS5 on a new HP DL360e G8 with B120i disk
controller. It appears that a proprietary HP driver is needed for it.
I found a useful description at http://www.linuxhelp.in/2013/08/Installing-centos-on-HP-Proliant-DL360e-Gen8-with-B120i-controller.html
I have a pair of hard drives to use as a RAID1 mirror.
My question to people who may have been this way already is: is it

Digium TE410P LED problem
Has anyone else experienced a problem with the LED for span 1 on a TE410P
or TE405P?
I had a TE410P on which the span 1 LED would not light red, but once the
span was connected, it did correctly light green.
I RMAed the board to our UK distrbutor and received a replacement. However,
the replacement board displayed the same problem!
Wondering if it was related to the computer I was putting it

fail2ban with standard Apache log format?
I want to use fail2ban on CentOS 6 to monitor Apache with the standard
default logfile format ("combined"). Has anyone here succeeded in doing so?
The format has the IP at the start of the line, followed by two dashes
(if no authentication) and THEN the timestamp. What I've read on the
fail2ban wiki seems to say that the timestamp must ALWAYS be at the start
of the line, followed by

Mirroring centos.org
Ok, that sounds a little more elegant.
Does that delete switch delete those files after download, or does it stop
it from downloading at all?
