Zombie DAHDI FXO channels
Dear listers, I'm facing a puzzling situation with Digium TDM2400 card (12 FXO / 12 FXS). Once a day or so we detect 1 or 2 zombie FXO channels. These can be either outbound or inbound calls. I thought this could be related to obsolete DAHDI or Asterisk versions, so I upgraded to 2.4.0 and 1.6.2.15 respectively (OS: Ubuntu 10.04 64 bits). To no avail; the zombie channels keep showing up.

dahdi-channels.conf for Digium TDM2400
Hello everyone, I have noticed thar our dahdi-channels.conf has some repeating directives, for instance for channel 2 (FXO) we have these settings: ;;; line="2 WCTDM/0/1 FXSKS" signalling=fxs_ks callerid=asreceived group=0 context=from-pstn channel => 2 callerid= group= context=default As you can see, a few directives are repeated (callerid, group, context). Native bridging analog phones trouble DAHDI channels.
I own a TDM2400 board, with three FXO modules and one FXS. I'am having trouble with analog sip phones, from two different equipment. (Grandstream GXW-4024 192.168.0.105, and Audiocodes MP202), sometimes when I am calling someone, then I press flash, and then call someone else, both calls stay connected after I hang up. POTS line already did. It's like a zombie channel. When this happens we issue "hangup request DAHDI/x-x". Anyone faced similar issue? Current configuration: Ubuntu 10.04 64 bits, Asterisk 1.6.2.7, DAHDI 2.3.0. Asterisk 1.8.32.1 -- Asterisk Hangs, FXOl DAHDI Channels Go Off-Hook, Operator FXS- Ringing
So far it happened two (2) times, last time yesterday. Opened case with Asterisk https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-24593 All FXO channels went off-hook, Operator FXS was constantly ringing. If I picked a handset there was a dead silence. If I put it back on hook it would start ringing. FreePBX interface would not operate properly. Specifically it was slow to authenticate, then

Question on phone line "pass through"
Hi all, I have a TDM2400 full of FXS cards and a TDM800 full of FXO cards. If I have a fax machine on the FXS port dialing out through asterisk on the TDM800 FXO, should I be expecting any problems? Or should this just work as expected? (ie, flawlessly with the asterisk box essentially transparent to the whole operation). I am doing it this way to allow many faxes and modems to share a dial

Auto-detect of fxo vs. fxs channels?
Is there a way to determine which channels belong to fxo vs. fxs devices? I need to write an auto-configuration program that can match up channel numbers to types. I have to assume there's an unknown ordering of fxo and fxs cards. Suggestions? TIA

X100M never goes on-hook state
Hi guys, I've been experiencing a very strange issue with my Digium Card TDM400 as of this week. It has two FXS and two FXO. The FXO modules (both of them) never goes on-hook after hanging up in Asterisk. It had worked perfectly well for over four years. I put an ammeter in series with the line and the card, and immediately after plugging the connector to the card, I got 26mA in the circuit

TDM2400: some FXS module fail
Hello, I've installed two Digium TDM2400 cards on my server. One has 24FXS and the other has 16 FXS and 4 FXO. They are both connected to power. Unfortunately some of the FXS module fail to initialize and I find following messages in the logs (the rest of the FXS modules work well). Could someone give me some advice? !!!!!!!
