odd issue with the with SIP over VPN
I've run into a odd issue where inbound calls to the SIP client work fine, but outbound from the SIP client do not. The path between the client and the server is as below. N900 SIP client <-- OpenVPN --> Asterisk The version of Asterisk in question is 1.6.0.18. Any suggestions? -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... R on maemo
Has anyone tried to compile R on the Nokia maemo platform? I've been thinking about buying the n900 phone when it comes out, but I guess the main selling point would be a possibility to run R on it. I've read some rumors that it is based on debian, and that it can run X11 apps. In theory, you wouldn't even need to write any GUI. You should be able to run R in command line mode, with

Howto authenticate smartPhone via Active Directory
Hi Mark, Just to let you know that we are running dovecot with AD. (and I guess: *many* people are running that combination) It worked without issues, we are using in dovecot-ldap.conf.ext: > auth_bind = yes this user/passwd filter: > = (&(objectclass=person)(sAMAccountName=%n)(!(userAccountControl=514))) > dn = cn=search_dovecit,cn=users,dc=company,dc=com > dnpass =

SmartPhone ARM
Hello Greg If money isn't a problem Intel has an optimized compiler for eVC and XScale processors http://www.intel.com/software/products/compilers/techtopics/PCA_Optimization_WP.pdf If you have any luck getting the eVC compiler closer to realtime I'd really like to know. I'm still far from realtime when using Speex 1.1.3 on a HP iPAQ (Intel pxa255). Best regards Bjoern D.

A400P + Intel D201GLY2(A) motherboard?
Hello I'd like to build myself an Asterisk server for SOHO use. Intel's D201GLY2 motherboard (http://tinyurl.com/ddarzp) looks like a very good deal, but I'm concerned about two things: 1. Will an A400P (from OpenVox, but supposed to be Digium-compatible http://tinyurl.com/ck6nfu) fit with a PCI riser, or will the CPU heatsink/fan be in the way? I downloaded the PDF from

Hey, everyone. I'm sure this thread will generate some email! Some people are working on a super-easy to use converter for people to be able to convert videos to Theora for the upcoming Get Video on Wikipedia push: http://videoonwikipedia.org/ (Note that this isn't being pushed yet, and is pre-launch quality!) For the converter one thing we'd like to be able to provide is a set

Howto authenticate smartPhone via Active Directory
Yes, you are right. This link: https://www.redips.net/linux/android-email-postfix-auth/#section2 shows: passdb pam { } used for authenticating Android. Problem #1 is that Slackware does not ship with PAM and the AD/DC Samba4 does not use it. It is used on Slackware for a domain member, but I'm not sure I should try configuring PAM on the AD/DC. Is there some otherway I can get

[LLVMdev] Possibly using a broken version of GCC to build LLVM (file won't finish compiling).
Hi Does there exist a list of relative compile times for source files in LLVM? I am doing a build for ARM on an actual ARM device, and CodeGenDAGPatterns.cpp is taking a really long time to compile (it's been like 20 minutes or more). I don't even get an error. All the files before it compile pretty quickly but this file in particular just won't finish. The version of gcc I have on
