CallerID from Samsung PBX line on FXO
Hi, I've now set up Asterisk to interface with our current Samsung iDCS 100 PBX via an 8SLI analogue extension card in the Samsung and an Openvox A400P04 4-FXO card in the Asterisk box. It all works in that I can place calls in both directions from the office Samsung extensions and Asterisk SIP extensions. The only tricky bit was getting the FXO to detect hang-up from the Samsung correctly -

Dovecot IMAP and Mac OS X Mail.app
Hi All, I recently switched our Courier IMAP server over to Dovecot primarily for performance reasons. Server OS is Debian Sarge with Dovecot packages from backports.org (v 1.0.rc2-1bpo1). Access from Thunderbird and Horde worked fine with some shared folders defined and the Courier compatibility private folder stanza. Initial testing with Mail.app showed that, although the folder listing was

Info on UK ISDN30e?
Hi :) My employer is looking to move a call centre to a new office, and has been increasingly frustrated with their legacy PBX (call-logging licensing and hardware upgrade costs). So I've stepped forth as the Open Source Pedant and suggested Asterisk so we can do all our own CallerID / call logging / analyses, and make use of IP Phones / teleworking, etc. The problem begins in that I only

Graceful shutdown doesn't stop all Gluster processes
Hi Anant, Do you use the fuse client in the container ?Wouldn't it be more reasonable to mount the fuse and then use bind mount to provide access to the container ? Graceful shutdown doesn't stop all Gluster processes
Okay, I understand. Yes, it would be beneficial to include an option for skipping the client processes. This way, we could utilize the 'stop-all-gluster-processes.sh' script with that option to stop the gluster server process while retaining the fuse mounts. ________________________________ From: Aravinda <aravinda at kadalu.tech> Sent: 16 February 2024 12:36 PM To: Anant Saraswat

No. If the script is used to update the GlusterFS packages in the node, then we need to stop the client processes as well (Fuse client is `glusterfs` process. `ps ax | grep glusterfs`). The default behaviour can't be changed, but the script can be enhanced by adding a new option `--skip-clients` so that it can skip stopping the client processes. -- Aravinda Kadalu Technologies

Graceful shutdown doesn't stop all Gluster processes
Well, you prepare the host for shutdown, right ? So why don't you setup systemd to start the container and shut it down before the bricks ? Graceful shutdown doesn't stop all Gluster processes
Hi Strahil, Yes, we mount the fuse to the physical host and then use bind mount to provide access to the container. The same physical host also runs the gluster server. Therefore, when we stop gluster using 'stop-all-gluster-processes.sh' on the physical host, it kills the fuse mount and impacts containers accessing this volume via bind. Thanks, Anant ________________________________

Voicetronix Openline 4 + asterisk
Any one has documented how-tos for making voicetronix openline 4 to work with Asterisk. I have been contacting Australian Digium resellers and Digium cards are not approved in Australia. So I suppose Australian users are interested into putting Voicetronix in use. Any expereience to share will be most appreciated. Graceful shutdown doesn't stop all Gluster processes
I think the service that shutdowns the bricks on EL systems is something like this - right now I don't have access to my systems to check but you can extract the rpms and see it: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1022542#c4 Best Regards,Strahil Nikolov On Wed, Feb 7, 2024 at 19:51, Ronny Adsetts<ronny.adsetts at amazinginternet.com> wrote: ________ Community Meeting

Graceful shutdown doesn't stop all Gluster processes
Hello Everyone, We are mounting this external Gluster volume (dc.local:/docker_config) for docker configuration on one of the Gluster servers. When I ran the stop-all-gluster-processes.sh script, I wanted to stop all gluster server-related processes on the server, but not to unmount the external gluster volume mounted on the server. However, running stop-all-gluster-processes.sh unmounted the

Samsung Galaxy 3 and Centos
My cell phone provider just sent me a letter stating that my 3 year contract is up and they will give me a Samsung Galaxy 3 if I will sign a new contract. I'm wondering how well (or if) that phone will work with Centos 6. My existing Samsung phone (can't remember the model number) doesn't integrate well or at all with Centos; whenever I plug it into the computer it finds the phone

Frustrated. Java on Centos 6 doesn't give an error message when downloading from a Samsung Galaxy S3
SUMMARY: Maybe this all boils down to "how do we debug when Java fails on Centos 6? DETAILS: If you don't have the Samsung Galaxy S3, then you might not realize how frustratingly difficult it is to transfer multiple files from the smartphone to Centos 6. It should be as simple as hooking up a USB cable and dragging and dropping (which it is, on most other smartphones, including the

Dear Speex Developers, I'm trying to use Speex on a development board that has the Samsung 2140 ARM Processor (model S3C2410X01, ARM 920T Core). I enabled the arm assembly, i.e. build the speex library using the following configure command: ./configure --enable-fixed-point --enable-arm-asm --enable-fixed-point-debug --host=arm-linux After linking the library with my application, I ran

Interface analogue exchange line to VOIP phone?
I have a potential customer who has an existing PBX with analogue FXS ports connected to phones. He wants to allow a single remote worker to be connected to one of the analogue extension ports using VOIP. I know I could do it using Asterisk with an X100P card, but that seems a bit overkill. Does anyone know of an analogue->VOIP adapter that has an FXO port in it instead of just an FXS port?
