What I need to know is: 1. can i register end user with multiple asterisk servers at a time? 2. If not, Can I re-route registeration requests to different servers using 1 asterisk

Routers that do not show external IPs...
I have a customer that has a Trendnet TEW-435BRM router which has the bad habit of rewriting all external connections so the Asterisk server only sees the IP address of the router itself. Up to today this has not been a problem since all extensions are on the local network but now they want to have a couple external IP phones (SIP). I opened up the ports on the router and my phone can register.

Thanks Jim for looking into that, I was really starting to wonder what was going on. Let me know if you find a way to tell the compiler to stop complaining. Problem logs queue_log-mysql
Hello! I'm trying to registers events of queues in /var/log/asterisk/queue_log and Mysql database .I have configured realtime queue_log on MySQL and works well, but /var/log/asterisk/queue_log file is empty, since you're not registering events of queues. Removing extconfig.conf configurations (queue_log => mysql, general), /var/log/asterisk/queue_log works well, events logs on

set.seed and for loop
Dear All, This is hard to describe so I made a simple example. set.seed(1001) total <- 0 data <- vector("list", 30) for(i in 1:30) { data[[i]] <- runif(50) } Let's call a data set runif(50). While the for loop is running, 100 data sets are generated. I want to restore 23th data set (the data set generated in 23th for loop) without the loop. I've tried set.seed(1023)

ast_queue_log to mysql asterisk < 1.4 ?
I know in v1.6 its part of logger.c but I noticed this: https://issues.asterisk.org/bug_view_advanced_page.php?bug_id=11625 However, it doesn't seem to ever been applied to any version of 1.4.x branch.. Nor can I figure out what it was applied to? This is over 3 years old, you would of figured it would have been applied to 1.4 at some point in time.. Any ideas?

Hi Jim, Thanks a lot for investigating. It definitely makes sense now. I'll fix the problem now. Is there any other place where you see that same (or similar) problem? yes, our DSP is 16 bit based, and if those bits of code aren't using 32 bit variables then yes that is what the warnings would be. Does this mean that the preprocessor and echo canceller won't work as well because of this? -Mike >>> Jean-Marc Valin <jean-marc.valin@usherbrooke.ca> 01/18/08 8:42 PM >>> I think these warnings are due to your DSP being 16-bit and

Anyone had any luck with SIP clients on theiPhoneplatform?
That sounds like the ideal app for me too. Fring requires we register with Fring and give them user id/password pair. In our case it did not work until we put a public IP on our Asterisk. I just bought WeePhone and I'll give it a try on the iPhone.
