Meetme Participant Announcement
I have the following in extensions.conf: exten => 1000,1,Meetme(|dMic|) According to the 'show application meetme' docs: 'i' - announce user join/leave (new in Asterisk 1.2) Well, when users join the conference, Asterisk records their name, but does not broadcast it into the conference. I have Asterisk version 1.2.4. I know this has worked in the past. This sure as heck

audio problem with asterisk and meetme conference
Hi. I have a problem with my audio in meetme conference under asterisk 13 using Debian buster compiled from source. The problem is that there is some sort of distortion in the audio -- a workaround is always to lower the listen volume (*4). I see nothing in the log and so I wonder what is happening. I have dahdi loaded so I can record the conferences. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and

I'm trying to use the password entered with Authenticate to create dynamic meetme conferences with the following dial plan: exten => _XXXXXXXXXX18467,1,Authenticate(/etc/asterisk/meetme.pw|a) exten => _XXXXXXXXXX18467,n,MeetMe(CDR(accountcode)) ; 281-8467 However CDR(accountcode) is always being set to 1022 no matter what password is used. The passwords are stored in a file so they can

Chanspy - Meetme
Hi guys, I've got a question about chanspy and meetme. I'd like to transfer all the persons involved in a chanspy (the guy spying, the guy that is spied and the guy that is speaking to the spied one -> total: 3) in a conference room. Is there a way to do it quickly without especially knowing each channels ? It's a bit tricky to know and remember each channels, no ? Thanks in

With 1.6.1, I'm trying to set up a test of meetme for creating dynamic conferences. extensions.conf: [meetme] exten => 2663,1,MeetMe(,De) exten => 2663,n,Hangup() exten => 2666,1,MeetMe() exten => 2666,n,Hangup() What I'm expecting is to dial 2663, get a conference room number ( 600, I suppose since it's the only room ), and set a PIN. Hangup. Then users would dial

MeetMe CPU resources
Hello, We would like to have a conference with 15 users aprox. We think that Pentium 4 3GHz and 1GB of RAM should be enough. Only Asterisk running. We wonder if somebody has some other experience, good or bad. We will use Asterisk 1.2 (it is a small and short project for only this). MeetMe Listen Only flag (|m)
One of the features that I thought would be popular with the Web-MeetMe suite is the ability to start all non-admin callers in a muted state and selectively unmute them. For example any large conference that is of an announcment nature with a Q&A session. It's probably a feature I should have tested better, but I just discovered that a caller that is joined to a MeetMe with the |m flag

MeetMe application in Asterisk V1.07
Hello list, I wonder if someone might be able to clear up something for me. I recently set up asterisk and have now managed to get the MeetMe application up and running. When I dial the extension to access the conference/MeetMe application, the only prompt I hear is:"You are currently the only person in this conference." When I use a friend's newly installed asterisk, I hear:
