I have a ISDN BRI card with hisax module (w6692) and there is a lot of echo when I make calls to outside. Between the sip softphones the echo doesn't exist, but when I call to outside through the ISDN the echo exist. Well, I'm not a professional in AEC theory, but what I've mentioned is: speex_echo_state_init(20, 320*10) - frame size should correspond to 20ms. At your sampling rate (16000hz) is should be 16K*0.02 = 320. The same I can notice about echo tail. 100ms: 16000*0.3 = 4800, not 3200 as you has. But that's not crucial I think. hi, i've got big problems with the Echo Cancellation of Asterisk. Entering "zap show channel 1" (while telephoning / making a call) gets me this line: "Echo Cancellation: 128 taps, currently OFF" And there's a heavy echo noticeable. Hello, I'm currently using speex library to do echo cancellation but I have an USB microphone and I've read that speex cannot handle different sound cards. But my question is : Is it possible to find a workaround (knowing that my configuration will be fixed) to make the echo cancellation works with an USB microphone ?
